WINTER FUEL PAYMENTS

As you may be aware winter fuel payments are being reinstated. It is important to note that people who are eligible will automatically be paid the winter fuel payment. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO APPLY. Any correspondence that asks them to apply, is a scam. There are already text messages and emails being sent out to ask people to apply, please do not do this.

**SCAM ALERT**

We have been made aware of a scam in the local area where a patent has received a phone call from someone who alleged they were a “senior health advisor” that worked alongside the practice. The caller then proceeded to ask for bank details to proceed with payment for medication. PLEASE NOTE, NO ONE FROM OR ASSOCIATED WITH OUR PRACTICE WILL ASK A PATIENT FOR BANK DETAILS TO PAY FOR MEDICATION.
