Who we are

Our Hub, at 34 Hall Street, is a drop-in centre for adults with autism and asperger’s.

We created the Autism & Asperger Society to bring everybody together; helping those with autism or asperger’s feel included within the community. We want to make sure adults on the autism spectrum have somewhere to go to, to make like-minded friends, build confidence and feel safe.

Our door is open four days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (10am-2pm), to provide a variety of activities and support for those with autism/ asperger’s and their carer/ friend/ relative.

As we are a non-profit voluntary organisation, we charge a small fee of £2 per day for members and we ask a donation of 50p towards drinks and refreshments. This contributes towards our rent at the hub and any extras that we need to buy for our members.
