Halloween can be great, but for some people, it can cause worry – especially if they’re home alone and concerned about callers after dark. Here are some simple things we can all do to make sure Halloween remains good fun for everyone.

About Helping Hand

Helping Hand Home Support is an independent local business run by Helen Moran. She previously worked as a Police Community Support Officer with Devon and Cornwall Constabulary before retraining and qualifying as an older people’s Social Worker.

Helen has worked as a Social Worker with Cornwall Councils Older People/Physical Disability Team; as a Living Well Co-ordinator with Age UK, based in West Cornwall Hospital, and as a Community Development Officer for a sight loss charity, supporting people with visual impairment in their own homes.

Helen was ‘born and bred’ in St Ives and enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends; going for walks on the Cornish coast and generally keeping fit.
