There is a new, locally funded NHS walk-in minor ailments service in Cornwall. As part of this, pharmacists are now sharing information about the advice they have provided with patients GP’s using a confidential format. This is really helpful so that the information you share can be included in your medical record. If you do need to see someone at the practice at a later date, they will have a record of the advice provided and any treatment you have tried. Pharmacists have got extensive clinical skills and training to deliver this service as part of our integrated healthcare system. This means you can access advice more quickly and can also help ease pressure on other parts of the healthcare system
