🚗💨 Shani & Pete's Mustang Surprise for our Very Special Gentleman 💨🚗
Recently, our wonderful gentleman Ron shared with his care professionals how much he misses the thrill of driving his beloved American Classic Cars. Although he hasn’t driven in many years, he often finds joy in reminiscing, sharing memories of the rumble of the engines, the smell of leather seats, and even the nostalgic scent of fuel in the air.
Inspired by his passion, our care team began brainstorming how we could help Ron reconnect with that feeling of freedom and excitement. We looked into local car shows (watch this space, we’re hoping to get him to one soon!), but in the meantime, our outstanding care professional Shani had something even better in mind...

Shani organised a surprise ride through the local towns, giving Ron a chance to sit back, soak up the sounds, smells, and sensations he’s missed for so long. The emotional impact was incredible, you could see the joy on his face and the spark in his eyes. This ride wasn’t just a trip down memory lane; it was a powerful reminder of identity, freedom, and joy.
