I look at myself sometimes and I don’t even recognise myself from how I used to be.

I’ve healed so much, I’ve come so far.

But it’s never over, in the best way possible it’s NEVER over.

You get to be whoever the hell you want to be at any point in your life.

And the sooner we all realise this the better.

I adore this image, but even 18 months ago I would have edited it to be smaller, because I didn’t believe that it was OK for me to take up space, even in a photo!

But literally screw every person who’s ever made us believe that, we’re all OK to take up whatever space we need, we want and we deserve. We can do, be or have whatever we want, it all starts with us choosing to have it.

Life doesn’t happen in the big moments that we’re all taught to work towards, life happens in the everyday, the moments between work, the impromptu trips to the beach, the random meeting of people and chatting for 5 as you walk down the street, the family moments in the living room, laughing at a message sent with autocorrect.

We do absolutely still want to move away and experience life elsewhere but the truth is we’d never really experienced life here, so that’s what we’re doing, cramming moments in between other things and enjoying life.

You see we began to heal the travel area of our home with the intention of travelling but this area also looks after friends & helpful people and our lives are suddenly being filled with people, places to go and those unexpected moments that bring so much joy.

It’s a new moon so if your energy levels are feeling a little dipped, know this is why!

Side note: I love instagram and sharing images like this but if people don’t interact with them it’s pointless, that’s why creators are making reels, because we can see a return on the investment, I get a handful of likes on these by people that have chosen to follow me, but if all those people that have chosen to follow me actually liked my photos when they saw them in their feeds, IG would then show it to more people, if you do nothing, IG thinks well that photo must be rubbish and it stops sharing it.

It’s the same with reels, but IG can tell if you really like a reel because you might watch it twice or even just until the end… so if you want it to be more about photos, please just interact with them when they arrive on your screen, it is led by demand as much as you might not want it to be 🤷🏼‍♀️
