Oakfield Croft care home in Sale provides completely personalised residential and dementia care on a short-term and permanent basis. The skilled team get to know your loved one's needs, interests and preferences so that they can shape all aspects of residents' care and experiences at the home. The emphasis at Oakfield Croft is on enabling residents to continue to enjoy a wonderful lifestyle. The home has its own cinema room, hair and beauty salon, plus an inviting café where residents and visitors will be free to help themselves to a freshly brewed coffee or tea, as well as a slice of homemade cake. Each bedroom is individually styled and furnished, with an en-suite wet room, and your loved one is welcome to personalise theirs.

Today we say a very special goodbye to our wonderful CRM, Amber 💐

Amber truly loved her job here and cared deeply for our residents, their families, and our whole team. Her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit have made such a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for the time she has spent with us. She will always be a special part of our family. ❤️
As Amber says, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later!” 👋✨

We wish her all the very best for the future and know she will do amazing things wherever she goes next.

At the same time, we are so excited to give a very warm welcome to Jenny, who will be stepping into Amber’s role. Jenny is a lovely addition to our family and we’re thrilled to have her join the team. 🌟

Say hello to our GEM of the Month… the one and only JULIE! 💎✨

Julie truly needs no introduction. She walked through our doors fabulous from day one when the home first opened — and she has kept it fabulous ever since! 😎💁‍♀️

Honestly, we would be completely lost without her. Julie is our hero without a cape 🦸‍♀️ — the friendly face at reception, the calm voice on the phone, the organiser, the problem-solver, the “leave it with me” queen 👑 and the person who somehow manages to help EVERYONE in the building with absolutely no fuss and no questions asked.

But what makes Julie extra special is her genuine love for our residents. ❤️ She greets everyone with warmth, kindness and that trademark smile, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Julie, thank you for being the heart of our front desk and the glue that holds so much together. You truly are a gem in every sense of the word 💎✨ We appreciate you more than you know! 👏💕

We had the absolute honour of taking our fabulous Joan to fulfil a very special wish… a trip to the Coronation Street Experience! 🎬✨

Joan spent over 30 incredible years working for Granada Television and was a Picture Editor for Coronation Street (alongside many other amazing roles!). So walking back onto those famous cobbles wasn’t just a visit… it was a trip down memory lane.🥰 (But she said firmly "What happens in 'the street' stays in the street!" No secrets to he told as her lips were sealed! 😆

She told us it brought back so many wonderful memories and made her feel incredibly nostalgic though especually when Joan met a gentleman currently working on the set whose father had worked with Joan all those years ago on the very same show. What are the chances?! The world felt very small in that moment, and very special indeed. 🌟

Joan has even written her own book (which is still available on Amazon!) – and we’ve included a photo of it in this post because of course we have a published author in our midst! 📚✨

It was truly an amazing day with an amazing lady. Being able to help make wishes like this come true is such a privilege, and seeing Joan back where so many of her wonderful memories were made was simply priceless.

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon — a trip to our very own home pub for drinks, laughter, and plenty of music!

There was singing (a bit of ABBA of course! 🎤✨), some dancing 💃🕺, and lots of smiles all around. Nothing beats good company, a cheerful atmosphere, and a chance to let loose and have fun together ❤️

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Mark for a lovely café-style sing along session, and what a wonderful time we all had! 🎤✨

Mark created such a warm and relaxed atmosphere, encouraging everyone to join in, sing along, and enjoy the music together. It was so lovely to see our residents tapping their feet, clapping along, and sharing smiles and laughter throughout the session 😊🎶

What a fantastic Dementia Information Session we had today at Oakfield Croft Care Home 💜

A huge thank you to everyone who attended — it was so lovely to see so many people coming together to learn, share and support one another.

The session was presented by Amber our Client Relations Manager and Beth out head of Lifestyle and home dementia lead champion, who spoke about different ways we can communicate and connect with those living with dementia. Sometimes it’s the smallest changes in approach that can make the biggest difference ✨

We truly hope you found real value in the session and left feeling inspired, reassured and better equipped to support your loved ones and clients.

A HUGE congratulations to our lovely Karen who was kindly nominated by a family member for her outstanding service 💛🌟

Karen truly has the most beautiful relationships with our residents. From heartfelt chats 💬 to plenty of laughter and cheeky banter 😂, she brings so much joy into our home every single day. It’s no surprise our residents absolutely adore her — and honestly, so do we! 🥰

Our stunning new care home in Sale will provide a range of quality care services for older people in luxurious surroundings.

Oakfield Croft is a brand new care home that will open in Autumn 2019. Located on Washway Road, the home will be close to the heart of Sale and only a few minutes from junction 7 of the M60.

Our new Sale care home will provide completely personalised residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 60 people on a short-term (respite) and permanent basis. Our skilled team will get to know your loved one’s needs, interests and preferences so that we can shape all aspects of their care and experiences at the home to suit them.
