☕🍰 Afternoon Tea at Amberley Care Home 🍰☕

On August 22nd, our residents enjoyed a lovely traditional tea, complete with delicious cupcakes, fresh sandwiches, and plenty of tea. 🫖✨

The dining room was full of smiles, laughter, and gentle conversation as everyone relaxed and shared stories over homemade treats. From classic sandwiches to delicious cupcakes, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 💛

These special moments are what make Amberley feel like home. A huge thank you to our team for making the afternoon so memorable!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at our Summer BBQ on Monday, 25th August, here at Amberley

The weather was kind, the food was delicious, and the smiles were everywhere. Residents, staff, families, and friends came together for an afternoon filled with laughter, music, and great company. 🥰🎶

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special – from the chefs on the grill to those who brought joy just by being there. Events like these remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a warm and caring community. 💛

Real Conversations, Real People, Real Impact! 😁

At Amberley Care Home in Sale, Manchester, we recently tried something a little different and it paid off beautifully.
We hosted a group interview, led not just by our brilliant staff, but with one of our residents proudly sitting on the interview panel. Together, we welcomed 17 candidates, explored real-world care scenarios, and had some truly meaningful conversations.

The results?
✨ 7 candidates offered roles
✨ 100% of our vacant care hours filled
✨ Countless moments of genuine connection

What made this process special wasn’t just the outcome it was how we got there. The inclusion of our resident brought invaluable perspective to the decision-making process and made the experience more human for everyone involved. Candidates felt the difference. So did we.

The weather was on our side, we had drinks, lollies and lovely food which included some international dishes such as Chakalaka.
A big thank you to our catering team, care team, activities team, maintenance team, housekeeping team and Admin team who worked so hard to make this event a success.
A big Thank you also goes to one of our Resident Joan who worked closely with our catering, activities, admin and maintenance teams.
Another big thank you goes out to our Residents families who came in early to help setup our garden.

The event was well attended thank you to all families and friends of Amberley for joining us and making the event even more special.
