🚀✨ Exploring the Cosmos at Bramhall Manor! ✨🚀

Our brilliant Wellbeing Assistant, Hana, led a fantastic Oomph! space-themed activity session for our residents – and what a blast it was! 🪐🌌

We got creative with puzzles, drawings, and fascinating space facts, taking a journey through the stars without ever leaving Bramhall Manor. 💫🌍

From distant planets to curious constellations, it was a truly out-of-this-world experience that sparked imaginations and brought plenty of smiles.

🎉✨A huge congratulations to our wonderful team and residents at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre as they mark their 3rd birthday in true style! 🎂✨

From a glamorous murder mystery theme 🕵️‍♀️ to fabulous decorations inside and out, the home has pulled out all the stops to make today unforgettable. The atmosphere is filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of birthday cheer 🎊💐.

A big thank you to the incredible team at Wilmslow Manor for creating such a special day for residents, families, and guests. Here’s to many more years of memories and celebrations!

🕺💃 Dancing the Day Away at Ashlands Manor! 💃🕺

Everyone knows we love a good boogie here at Ashlands Manor Care Centre, and this week was no exception! 🎉

We were treated to another fantastic performance by the ever-lovely Joe Coxx 🎤🎶 — always a hit with our residents, their families, and our staff.

Laughter, dancing, and smiles all around… it’s moments like these that make our home so special 💛

Thank you, Joe, for bringing your energy and joy to Ashlands once again!

💅✨ Pamper Day Fun at Ashlands Manor! ✨💅

During this week’s Pamper Day, our resident beautician Pat decided it was Dean’s turn for a little TLC — giving our Wellbeing Assistant a fabulous mini-manicure! 😄💅🏻

Pat is no stranger to beauty… having spent most of her life in the industry, she worked with Chanel and rose to become the Counter Manager at the iconic Kendall’s department store in Manchester. 🖤

To this day, Pat keeps up her glamorous routine — weekly hair and nails, regular mini-facials and makeup sessions with Becca, our Wellbeing Coordinator, and of course, her monthly eyebrow appointments with her granddaughter. Because glamour never goes out of style! ✨❤️

📣 Team Meeting at Ashlands Manor

This week, we held one of our regular full staff meetings — a valuable chance for our Manager, Octavia, to share exciting updates, gather feedback, and keep everyone in the loop.

What made this meeting extra special was the presence of Kathleen, one of our lovely residents, who joined us as a resident representative. 🧡

Kathleen took part in the discussions, shared messages from fellow residents, and will now be able to pass key information back to them too — strengthening the connection between our team and our residents even further.

Thank you, Kathleen, for your voice and input — and thank you to our incredible team for always being engaged and committed to making Ashlands Manor a warm and supportive home.

💪 Rebalancing Body & Mind 💙

We had the pleasure of welcoming Caroline from Rebalance Physiotherapy for a fantastic movement and strength-building session with our residents 🙆‍♀️✨

Caroline and her team have worked with several of our sister homes in the area and, over time, have built a wonderful relationship with our residents. Their understanding, encouragement, and tailored approach are helping our residents grow stronger, move more confidently, and push their boundaries — all while having fun!

A Trip Through Time at the Greater Manchester Police Museum 🚨

Some of our fabulous gents enjoyed a brilliant morning out exploring the Greater Manchester Police Museum, taking a step back in time to learn all about the history of policing in Manchester and the surrounding areas.

From former holding cells to vintage uniforms and stories of days gone by, it was a fascinating look at how things have changed over the years — and a chance to share some memories too!

Autumn Baking at Its Best! 🥧

In our Brew & Bake Club, we've been getting into the cosy spirit of autumn by making a classic favourite — Apple Crumble! 🍏✨

Even more special, we used fresh, home-grown apples kindly donated by a local resident, adding that extra touch of love and community to every bite 💚

Baked to perfection and served warm with a dollop of fresh cream, it was the perfect afternoon treat — and a wonderful way to spend time together.

Here’s to more delicious moments this season! 🍂☕️

🌳 A Perfect Day Out at Lyme Park 🌳

A heartfelt thank you to Myley, the wonderful team who help make our resident trips possible with their fantastic drivers and minibus service 🚐💙

We enjoyed a truly lovely day at Lyme Park, exploring the historic Manor House, wandering the scenic grounds, and soaking up the late summer sunshine. It was a great chance to connect with nature and spend meaningful time together with friends 🌞🏰

Moments like these are what make Ashlands Manor so special 💫
