Please find the information regarding the Early Years Speech, Language and Communication groups currently running in the Family hubs:
Mondays, 1-2pm at Partington Family Hub
Tuesdays, 10-11am at Sale West community centre (begins 12/5/2026)
Fridays, 10-11am at Stretford Family Hub
*Please note: All groups run Term time only*
An Early years group focusing on supporting speech, language and communication skills.
Each week a communication strategy and an activity related to a target from the Wellcomm is modelled and discussed. Parents can discuss any concerns with the SALT and SLTA at the group. A Wellcomm can be completed at the session if this has not already been completed. Families are signposted/referred to further support where required.
The group consists of:
Circle time with an introduction and modelling
free play with 1:1 conversations with SLTA/SALT
Circle time with a signing basket and singing
A drop- in format where families can attend for some advice or attend weekly for more support.
