🌟 We Need You! Become a Snack Trolley Volunteer 🌟

Want to make a real difference in someone’s day with just a smile and a snack?

We're looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help run our Snack Trolley Service across our Bury, Salford and Oldham Northern Care Alliance sites. This small gesture brings huge comfort to patients, visitors, and staff—and you could be part of it!

🛒 What you’ll do:

• Sell snacks and refreshments around the hospital.
• Bring moments of connection to patients and families
• Support our staff with a much‑appreciated pick‑me‑up
• Be a valued part of our hospital community

❄️ WINTER WONDERLAND 11/12/25 ❄️

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this years winter wonderland event such a warm and magical success.

🍰 BAKE SALE - Our tables were overflowing with delicious homemade treats!

🐾 THERAPY DOGS - The stars of the day! Their calm cuddles and wagging tails brought so many smiles!

🎁 TOMBOLA - With plenty of prizes and lots of excitement it was a sell-out hit!

🧵HANDMADE STALL - Beautiful crafts and thoughtful gifts all handmade by our wonderful volunteers!

🎶 VOLUNTEER VOICES CHOIR - The perfect festive addition, bringing true seasonal magic!

🎅 SANTA AND ELF VISIT - A truely spectacular way to top off the festive excitement!

Thank you to all the the volunteers, supporters and everyone who came along.

Our Volunteers Annual Celebration last night was a huge success, and it was all thanks to the incredible people who give their time and energy throughout the year.

It was wonderful to see everyone come together to share laughter and enjoy some festive fun! Your dedication makes a real difference, and we are so proud to celebrate you!

Come and set up for a Volunteering shift on the Hydration Trolley with one of our wonderful Volunteers. This role is extremely important in providing patients with hydration during their stay, aiding in their recovery! We are currently recruiting for this role. Day 2 at Oldham volunteers week another special guest joining us to support was Andrea

So not many pictures as a patient who has been with us a while and we have got to know very well was leaving and on her first encounter with our volunteers we did her bed board to support the ward finding out her preferred name and what really mattered to her (a hug from her husband and her hair being done) so I had to nip off and get her all ready for that big hug 🥰

Then we met 2 lovely people who had come for an appointment whilst at the front desk enjoying our goodies 🤭☺️ we had a very lovely chat and a good laugh they had some cake with us and now one of the lovely ladies has decided to come and join our team 🙏🏻
