Confused about HPV? Youth Council has created a fun video to help young people learn about the importance of the vaccination. Many young people find talking about health a little scary, so the group used paper puppets to answer common questions and dispel myths about HPV and why getting the vaccine is important.

It's an amazing new space with something for everyone, from climbing walls, a boxing gym, dance studio and fitness suite, to a music studio, arts and crafts, cookery room, sensory room and so much more.

It's open 7 days a week, with over 20 sessions to choose from every day - and it's just 50p per visit!

We will be closed for half a day tomorrow, Thursday, 26 June 2025, from 1.30pm to 6.30pm, to support important GP practice staff training.

During this closure, will be available to assist with any urgent health needs, including:

✔️ Same-day urgent care
✔️ Acute prescriptions
✔️ Face-to-face and remote health consultations
✔️ Urgent home visits (where clinically appropriate)

In times of hot weather, it is important to know the difference between heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

Heat exhaustion does not usually need emergency medical help if you can cool down within 30 minutes.

If it turns into heatstroke, it needs to be treated as an emergency, call 999.
