🌍💚 World Mental Health Day – October 10th 💚🌍

Your mental health matters, not just today, but every single day. 🧠💭

At St Andrews Medical Centre, we’re reminding everyone that caring for your mental wellbeing is just as important as caring for your physical health. Whether it’s a chat, a check-in, or professional support, help is always here.

💬 Take a moment to pause, reach out, and look after yourself and those around you.

If you’re struggling or simply need to talk, please contact us, our team is here to listen and help. 💙

🧠💬 This World Mental Health Day, let’s take a moment to check in on each other - a simple conversation can make a world of difference 🌍❤️

Here’s how to support someone who might be struggling:
1️⃣ Find a quiet space with no distractions - be fully present 🤝
2️⃣ Listen without interrupting and ask thoughtful questions 👂❓
3️⃣ Ask how you can help - it might be booking a GP appointment, helping with chores, or just being there 🫶

📱 Remember: social media isn’t always real.
Feeling low? It’s OK to log off. It’s OK to not be OK all the time.
Less screen time = more time to breathe, reflect, and reset 🌿💚

💡 Mental health matters every day.
Small actions = BIG impact.

💙🌏World Mental Health Day🌎💙

Mental health is more than a small part of our lives – it’s every moment of every day. It’s a hard day’s work and a catch-up with friends. It’s when you become a parent and the day you lose someone you love. It’s the times you reach out for support and the years you spend on a waiting list. It’s the fight for a mental health system that works and hospitals that are safe. 🫂❤️

Mental health matters on the days when everything happens and the days when nothing happens. When life is busy and unpredictable and when it’s quiet and ordinary too. That’s why we fight every day, to support more people tomorrow.

10th October is World Mental Health Day, but we want everyone to understand that mental health is important every day. Together we can make sure everyone sees it that way. 🧠🌎
