Anyone who’s been in my treatment room over the past few weeks will be used to me banging on about the lymphatic system.
I don’t know about you, but my GCSE Science definitely didn’t quite cut the mustard when it came to understanding this pretty phenomenal system. Let me help you unpick it...
Your lymphatic system is basically your body’s quiet overachiever.
Its functions?
• Clearing cellular waste
• Supporting immunity
• Managing fluid balance
• Reducing swelling
And unlike your circulatory system… it doesn’t have a pump ❤️
It relies on movement, breath and gentle stimulation to flow well.
If you’re living with an inflammatory condition, you probably already know a little more about the lymphatic system than most.
But here’s the question… do you have gentle, consistent rituals in place to support it?
Because when lymph flow slows, you might feel:
• Puffy
• Heavy
• Sluggish
• A bit “meh”
Sometimes your lymph just needs a little encouragement.
