I was never really happy with my weight but I loved the lifestyle of working in bars – eating and drinking all the time. What’s not to love?
However that lifestyle led me to look like the left photo for 15 YEARS!!
Overweight, wearing a size bigger to hide my stomach, head only photo’s (Unless taken by someone else) and hours shopping to find something for a night out that I looked ‘OK’ in
I may be smiling but really, I was miserable
I knew if I didn’t change my habits and what I was doing I would only get bigger and bigger
I was pushing a size 18 when I decided to make a change
I could no longer shop in normal shops and wear the nice clothes that I wanted to
A super low point in Sept 2016 sparked a trigger and I knew things had to change
I no longer wanted to feel miserable and depressed when getting ready for a night out
Still working in bars, I decided to do some research into how weight loss occurred and what I needed to do
I’d done a few fad diets in the past but nothing sustainable. This time I knew it had to be different
Luckily I stumbled across the right information of a calorie deficit, so MyFitnessPal became my new friend
This took me about a year and a half - but by doing the correct process I have maintained this for the last 8 years, which is the hardest part of dieting - maintenance
Since then I have trained as a PT and nutritionist and I want to help people like I was, who are stuck in the same situation I was looking for knowledge and answers
