Do you feel confident in your clothes? 💃🏻

Or do you use your clothes to cover up what you don’t like?

When a client first signs up with me I ask what their goal is. Most of them say weight loss but the underlying reason for that is to feel more confident and happier in their clothes

Do you find yourself going to the wardrobe and thinking ‘what will actually fit me?’ ‘What will I look good in?”

It’s an awful sinking feeling and I’ve been there many times. Trying on endless outfits to get the one that will make you feel the best and not miserable all day thinking about how tight it is or what its showing

How good would it feel to open your wardrobe and know that everything looked good? That you could literally wear anything without having to try 6 things on first? 🙈

Sounds great right!! Sometimes that feeling is closer than we think

6lbs for me is usually enough to do it – to feel comfortable and confident again

But you won’t know until you start YOUR journey and start to see results

Think of your holiday this year…..

Will you be confident having photos taken? Or will you be hiding at the back?

Will you be confident being filmed doing activities on holiday? Or will you shy away from the camera and ask for them to be deleted?

Are you ready to wear your swimsuit and parade around the pool? Or will you be hiding in a sarong on a sun lounger?

To be summer confident you can be any size you like but you need to have that inner confidence

That only comes from YOU feeling your best, not feeling tired all the time, having the energy to do the activities on holiday, to enjoy the food without guilt of weight gain

If you are feeling like this and struggling with confidence in your clothes and afraid to go on holiday, then yesterday was the best time to do something about it but the second best time is NOW!!

Don’t waste another day thinking you can’t achieve your goals – YOU CAN!!

Do you wait for the PERFECT time to start something?

When the timing and the conditions are right?

When you have written the perfect plan?

I can say I’ve been guilty of this in the past. Waiting for a certain day or date to start a diet, or a new exercise routine.

‘I’ll get a plan written out and set up first’

Do you know when the best time to start some thing is?

Right now!! (after reading this post of course!)

Through years and years of trying different things and different ways I’ve come to realise that the best time to start something is the time you have the idea

It doesn’t have to look perfect to begin with it just has to get you on the right track

I would say sometimes I can be too much of a perfectionist with an OCD streak so this does not help me!!

Over the past few years I have been learning that perfection isn’t everything and nothing can really be perfect

We all seek motivation to do things yet when the motivation and ideas come to you, you postpone them til after the weekend, or after a certain event

If you want something then you need to do it when you decide you want to do!!

Don’t wait a few days to get a perfect plan in place only to realise that plan wasn’t that perfect for you after all

If the motivation has hit you TODAY then act TODAY!!

Don’t wait for tomorrow or next week

There’s no PERFECT time so act now!

4th session of week done ✔️

It can be hard fitting 4 sessions in with working 5 days and different shifts all the time but I’m currently aiming for 3 as a minimum which is my 2 days off and one other day at some point during the week

I’m in the second week of my cycle so knew I could push hard this week and that I did!!

The 4th session today was just going through the motions as I do feel a bit tired from pushing so hard in the other 3 sessions and couldn’t do as much

But made it and did the session which is all that matters

Getting PB’s and pushing hard is what keeps me motivated to work hard in the gym which in return see’s results in the change in your physique and body fat

Practice what you preach and all that….. 💁🏻‍♀️

Just posted this in my client Facebook group but thought it would be beneficial for a wider audience to see and hopefully it might help you

So here it is…..

I promise you I do exactly what I get you to do

Off out today 3-11pm for this event

Meeting my friend in Las Iguanas at 2pm so my day looks like this…

Now - eat breakfast 250 cals

2pm - las iguanas FREE Pina colada 🍹

2.30pm - one of these 2 burgers. There is very little I can have being dairy free. It was these or a salad. And no-one goes out drinking on a salad 🤣

4pm - Dance my steps in for the day plus more 💃

Drinking - not sure what they have but I’ll be having plenty of tap water with it to stay hydrated and minimise the hangover!

12mid - make a 91cal burger with a 102cal bread thin, ketchup and lettuce. Maybe 2 if I’m starving 😂 I’ve just cooked the burgers so will microwave later. Might not taste the best but I’ll be drunk so it will be fine

I have breakfast prepped in the fridge for tomorrow and my evening meal. I have 2 more burgers in the freezer if I want them

I have cooked bbq chicken and salad if I want that

I have a litre of coconut water to re-hydrate

This wasn’t just planned this morning. I thought about it early on in the week and got my shopping in and prepped ahead of today

You don’t magically might the right choices - you have to leave the choices in the fridge you want to make

If you have the chance to do the Pac-Man experience I would say do it!! 🟡

I thought it would be easy but I few games in I became competitive and was sweating by the end of it 🥵

Definitely a lot of fun!

Then we went to Pong and Puck and I played darts for the first time 🎯

And I don’t think I did that badly 😅 definitely up for doing it again for sure

I think I can speak for the whole office when I say we will miss but after a few months in Australia she will have forgotten all of us and be living her best life in the sun 😎🇦🇺

4th gym session of the week done ✔️

And you might think I’m crazy to do this when you read to the end 🫣

Because some people are put off fitness, getting in shape and eating healthy by the cost….

The cost of the gym membership
The cost of a personal trainer
The cost of home workout equipment
The cost of an online coach
The cost of healthy food

But are you thinking about what it is costing you not to spend this money?

The cost of your declining fitness
The cost of losing bone density
The cost of losing muscle tissue
The cost of not eating a healthy diet
Not having the knowledge of how to maintain your fitness in a way that suits you

It might cost you money 💰 to achieve these things but if you lose these things you can’t just go out and buy them. You have to work for them and it takes more time to rebuild them than it does to lose them

This week I have paid £7 a day in the local gym - and this is where you might think I’m crazy 🤪

I’ve been 4 times

£28 for 4 sessions in a gym that isn’t really that well equipped (see my videos from the last few days)

The same price it costs me for my monthly membership at Pure Gym! And I have a multi gym access as well with free Yanga water!

So why did I pay it?

I struggle to get gym sessions in around work sometimes so this is the prime opportunity to get 4 sessions in

I don’t want to track my calories whilst I’m away so it is helping to maintain my weight (I shall see when I get back) and keep me active when I could just so easily sit around all day 🫢

Plus it’s keeping me in the mindset and routine of going to the gym so I’m more likely to keep it up when I get back

As we all know - time away from the gym or your regular exercise routine can take you out of the rhythm of doing it and you forget the benefits of going

So whilst it may have cost £28 for 4 gym sessions - it’s given me a lot more return in many different ways

So next time you think that’s too expensive…. Think about the consequences of not spending the money

Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow but weeks and months down the line….
