Health Improvement Connect are running a free Sit Down & Strengthen course in Swinton – a friendly, chair-based exercise session designed to improve strength, balance and confidence, followed by time to relax with a cuppa and a chat.

It’s suitable for all abilities and is a lovely opportunity to move at your own pace while enjoying some social time with others.

This month, we’re proud to shine our Care Professional Spotlight on Carol 💚🤍

Carol has been part of the Home Instead Salford & Worsley team since 2020, and recently demonstrated exactly what outstanding care looks like in action.

During a visit, Carol quickly recognised the signs of a possible stroke and acted without hesitation, contacting emergency services and alerting the office straight away. Thanks to her calm, swift response, her client received urgent treatment and was able to return home with minimal side effects.

Something special is coming to Salford this February 💚🤍

We’re excited to launch The Care Compass Circle, a new monthly community support group designed to offer guidance, connection and a welcoming space to talk.

Running on the first Tuesday of every month, each session will focus on a different theme around care, wellbeing and everyday challenges, with guest speakers and practical advice shared in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Our first session will take place on:
