❤️JUDITH SCOTT❤️ Today for our final healthy school partnership session we learnt about outsider artist Judith Scott. She had Down syndrome and spent most of her life in an institution. She went to an arts centre and for months would not engage… then one day she picked up some yarn and fabric and started to wrap objects. She had found her passion! We wrapped small wicker hearts today in our session and were amazed by how much fun it was and by how different they all are.

❤️MOTHERS DAY SESSION❤️ Today we held a Mother’s Day send celebration session at replay, to say thankyou to all of those send mamas who work so bloody hard! We had weaving, painted rocks and colourful birds! Plus lots and lots of adhoc dens, giant marble runs, cutting and sticking, music making and lots of fruit and croissant eating! Thankyou to all of the mums who brought their lovely children to our session, we hope you got something from it! Because we certainly did! Thankyou to the shortbreak care fund for funding us for this session

🎨 Crafting magic at the Naz, Broughton Community Centre! We now run sessions with people who struggle with Hoarding behaviours. If you would like more information about the group please send us a DM! This week we started with self development work and explored purpose. Then we brought spent an hour chatting and crafting making beautiful vibrant Christmas decorations. Thanks to for the health and wellbeing funding for us to run this exciting and supportive programme ❤️
