Start Creative Start Creative is a social enterprise based in Salford that specialises in the creative arts. Any profit we make is reinvested in our facilities and projects.

Our inspirational range of products 'hand crafted in Salford' are for sale, made to order or for hire. Start Creative has developed in response to the aspirations of our Start in Salford members and improving the wellbeing of our community is at the very heart of what we do. We provide a vibrant, supportive and professional working environment with opportunities for people to showcase their creative talents and high quality artworks. Our range of services support local people and local businesses, contributing to a more prosperous local economy. We use ethically sourced materials and low carbon impact materials and processes wherever possible. For example, much of the wood we use comes form woodlands in and around Salford and is coppiced by us, a process that improves the health of woodlands.
