✨ A little late with a re-introductory post 😇
The last time I introduced myself was when I started my business — about 4 years ago 😂
Usually, I like talking about myself, but somehow it feels different doing that on social media… it always gives me the feeling as if I was talking to myself 😅
Anyways… my name is Gabriele (many of you know me as Gabby) and I am 27 years old.
My husband and I have been together for 12 years, and we have two wonderful girls, aged 8 and 5 💕
I am a Holistic and Sports Massage Therapist.
I’ve been practising various massage therapies for over 4 years now and continuously expanding my knowledge further.
Many of you know that I proudly specialise in deep tissue and sports massage — something I truly believe helps people overcome the pain and tension they carry around.
Of course, deep tissue is not for everyone, and that’s where holistic therapies step in 🌿
I’ve always loved taking care of people, making them feel good, and if I’m capable of taking away someone else’s pain — Jez, that’s a superpower 💪🏼
Somehow, I don’t know how, but I’ve been rubbing backs for my relatives and friends since I was a child 😁
It may sound funny, but even then it felt like something I could give to people and be appreciated for.
At the same time, I loved connecting with people — it always felt meditational. I could do it for a long time and never get bored.
Have I ever thought of becoming a massage therapist?
Of course not! Absolutely no way — not a serious enough career, I needed something more “important” 🙃
So how did I end up being one..?
Well, during one unforeseen occasion I found out about physiotherapy. That sounded serious enough for me, and I saw myself pursuing this career straight away.
Of course, having children postponed this dream of mine for God knows how long, but about 4 years ago I decided to go ahead and throw myself into massaging — just to see if it was even for me, if I enjoyed working with people at all.
It turns out it’s my greatest passion of all. I love what I do ❤️
My favourite thing is my clients’ feedback — when they tell me they’re feeling better, that their pain is fading away. It’s like music to my ears.
I DO have a superpower! No doubt about that! ✨
And my dream hasn’t faded away — I’m planning to join university at some point and become a physiotherapist.
I couldn’t be happier that things worked out this way.
I’ll be able to offer not only my theoretical knowledge but also hands-on experience — something that’s sadly becoming a stigma amongst physiotherapists nowadays.
Anyways 😁
Here I am, having my first-ever professional photoshoot, working my magic on my gorgeous client, in my absolutely stunning little home clinic — wondering where the future will take me… 💫
