We are updating our website and deciding what lovely images to populate it with.
The problem is we have so many of our beautiful surroundings, fantastic staff, team building, events, cafe and visitors that’s it’s impossible to choose !

This is a lovely moment from last year when Glenda and many others clubbed together and truly spoiled Sandie and Rachel.

It’s people and moments like this that make Bandrum such a special place 💜

If there is anything that you would like us to add to the new website that would be helpful please do let us know.

Have a lovely Saturday and remember if you are fed up in the rain come to our 🍵 cafe ! That’s sure to make you smile. Coffees start at 10.30am , full menu is available from 11.30 - 3pm 🕒 Wednesday - Saturday!
And we are open 1 Sunday every month.

Life isn’t always easy, whether we are working long shifts, worried about money, loosing independence or finding there is more time to fill in the day than you would like. ❤️ there isint always an easy an answer but one thing you can always choose is to be kind.

How we communicate with each other is our superpower. Be it with a colleague, family member or resident the power to make someone feel, happy, heard and safe is a wonderful gift to have.

This October we role our Dignity and Respect Training to the whole home, learning new ways and remembering old ones of communicating in every sense of the word.

So this Sunday if you only make one choice - make it this ☝️ one.

What an exceptional experience the cadets Black Watch Battalion ACF brought to Bandrum Nursing Home. Our residents were in awe of the cadets impeccable drill, as well as it triggering some memories from days gone bye for other.

Beautiful moments today as Bandrum basks under blue skies. Every nook and cranny was a hive of activity, even if that activity was gazing across the vast landscape, watching the house martins as they prepare to migrate for another year, and of course our in house photographer Stan was at the ready, never to miss an opportunity.
