Videocall physio re-launch!

Many conditions can benefit from our online appointments - whether neck, back, shoulder or knee pain... we can still assess and treat you highly effectively in the comfort of your own home through videocall.

Any if it means avoiding the Salisbury traffic - that has to be a bonus!!!

Assessment are just as long as in clinic but follows ups are shorter... and cheaper.

This also means that we can extend our treatments geographically to anyone... anywhere!

Here we have the photos provided today to our client for self help after acupuncture for sciatica and low back pain… we often help empower people to discover ways of treating the acupuncture meridians themselves at home as part of their treatment.

Our “acupuncture” sessions are never just acupuncture… we cover so much more than explaining and using techniques of both traditional & western acupuncture… we covered how the right exercises can help, advised on golf posture and swing adjustment, self help acupuncture top ups at home, nerve desensitisation approaches, neurodynamics after injury, understanding the relevance of findings on MRI, the value of nerve conduction studies, the brain’s sensory cortex, peripheral nerve thresholds and what happens after injury… and so much more.

Given that this gentleman has previously seen Physio’s and Osteopaths for treatment it was really surprising just how much he had not already understood about what is happening in the spine & peripheral nerves.

We have 5 musculoskeletal physios in clinic. Dulcie, Craig & Dan also do acupuncture as well as our Clinical Director Marie who is now providing acupuncture focused appointments instead of musculoskeletal… but after 24 years in physio there’s always a lot of physio thrown in too and this will give great outcomes.

Transferable skills…. 🐾

Wound check ✅ bandage change ✅ adhesive tape with low stretch for safety of circulation ✅ vet photo emailed (just for info) ✅ Vet advice followed ✅ . Off to see just one human for acupuncture in clinic at Salisbury and South Wilts Physiotherapy ✅ Flo is on the mend ❤️‍🩹 🐾🥰🐶💕🙏 . So many transferable skills from physio… wound management, limb handling, bandaging… 🐶👌

👌Amazing results in just x2 sessions combining traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture, western electro acupuncture, suction cupping massage, self help exercises, postural changes & TENS at home for acupuncture top ups, hand therapy and physiotherapy… chronic back and neck pain coupled with pain and neural symptoms in both arms and hands. Now that’s why we LOVE acupuncture here! Just the tiniest amount of neck tension now. 🥰 .
