Bloom & Wild Wander 🌸🌿

To celebrate the week of the Spring Equinox, we’re heading out for a last-minute Bloom & Wild Wander to Stonehenge tomorrow morning.

A gentle wander across the landscape while everything starts waking up again — longer days, returning light, and the quiet shift into spring.

📅 Tomorrow – 10am
📍 Park & meet: Bottom of Willoughby Road, Larkhill
📍 What3Words: ///nightlife.brass.ferrets

We’ll likely head back across the barrow fields, so baby carriers are recommended if you have them.
If bringing a buggy, all-terrain 3-wheelers will cope best with the ground.

☕ No drinks stop this time, so please bring your own if you’d like one.

Come as you are — boots, buggy, bump, baby or just yourself. 🌿

Happy Mother’s Day from Wild Embers 🌿

To the mums celebrating their very first Mother’s Day — possibly running on very little sleep, covered in baby milk, and wondering how someone so tiny can take up so much of your heart (and your laundry basket).

To the mums-to-be, growing your little one and dreaming about what next year might look like.

And to all the incredible mums in our community doing the everyday magic of motherhood — the cuddles, the chaos, the snacks, the “where did I put my coffee?” moments.

We’re celebrating you today. 💛

But we also know today can feel tender for some.
To those hoping to become mums, those walking a harder road to motherhood, or those holding little ones in their hearts — we’re thinking of you too.

However today looks for you, we’re sending you warmth, kindness, and a big Wild Embers hug.

Elle x

Come stretch, move, and have a little calm in your day 💛

New classes, same heart 💛

I’m excited to be adding two new weekly classes to the Wild Embers timetable — designed to fit into real life, not add to the mental load.

Starting 12th March.

✨ Pregnancy Yoga (Lunchtime)
Perfect if you’re working from home and craving a midday reset. Step away from the screen, have a little wiggle, breathe deeply, ease hips and back tension, and reconnect before the afternoon rolls on.

✨ Postnatal & Baby Yoga (Afternoon)
Because I remember so clearly how long afternoons could feel when all the baby groups were in the morning. This class gives you something to look forward to — a pause, a stretch, a breath, and a reminder that you exist too.

Both classes are PAYG style, so you can drop in when it suits you — but if you’d like to make it more cost-effective, class packs will be available too.

💛 Bonus for existing course mums:
If you’re already booked on a regular Wild Embers course, a reduced rate is available to use these new classes as a bonus — perfect for extra movement, a midweek reset, or just something fun to look forward to.

Supportive, practical, relaxed — babies welcome, no pressure, no “keeping up”.

Sometimes the right class at the right time of day makes all the difference 🤍

Sometimes it doesn’t take a full course to change how you walk into birth.

Sometimes it just takes 90 minutes.

Sophie reached out when anxiety was starting to creep in. Previous birth experiences were sitting heavy, and the thought of labour again felt overwhelming.

So we worked together in a 1:1 Ignite Your Power session.

In 90 minutes we:
• unpacked the fears that had been building
• reframed past experiences
• practised advocacy for medical conversations
• anchored calming breath and mindset tools
• rebuilt trust in her body

And something shifted.

When labour unfolded and decisions needed to be made, those tools were already there.

“I had prepared for this.”

Birth didn’t need to be perfect.
It needed confidence.
It needed calm.
It needed someone who felt able to speak up for herself.

That’s the power of doing the mindset work.

✨ If birth anxiety is creeping in — even late in pregnancy — a single session can change everything.

💛 Sophie’s full birth story is now on the blog. Head to the link in bio to read it.

Today is International Women’s Day.

I spend my days working with women. Supporting women. Watching women discover just how powerful their bodies and voices really are.

And at home, I’m raising three daughters.

Being surrounded by women in this way makes one thing feel very clear to me: the strength of women is everywhere — in birth, in motherhood, in friendship, in the quiet ways women hold entire families and communities together.

Every single person on this planet was born from a woman.

Every life started in a woman’s body.

Yet so often women are taught to doubt themselves, to make themselves smaller, to question their instincts and their power.

The work I do — and the way I’m raising my daughters — is rooted in something simple but radical: helping women remember their strength.

To trust their bodies.
To trust their voices.
To take up space.

Because when women believe in themselves, everything changes.

Here’s to the women raising the next generation, supporting each other, speaking up, and rewriting the story.

Happy International Women’s Day.

A post in a local Facebook group.
A recommendation.
A message asking for hypnobirthing support.

We already knew each other from yoga — but this time it was different.

This wasn’t about learning positions or breathing for the first time.
It was about healing.

After two previous births, anxiety was creeping in again. Old experiences. Old narratives. Old fear patterns starting to resurface.

So we worked 1:1.

We unpacked what had happened before.
We rewrote the story she was telling herself.
We rebuilt trust in her body.
We practised advocacy.
We strengthened calm.

This was before growth scans.
Before any talk of induction.
Before labour even began.

And when decisions needed to be made later on, she didn’t crumble.

“I had prepared for this.”

That’s what 1:1 hypnobirthing support is about.
Not just learning techniques — but changing how you walk into birth.

If previous experiences are casting a shadow over this pregnancy, you don’t have to carry that alone 💛

“Your lovely pool has just experienced another wonderful birth 🤩🥳 can’t quite believe I’m saying this but we have another beautiful baby boy, 9lb 5oz! All went so smoothly at home this morning!”

And this one feels extra special.

Second time hiring the pool.
Second baby.
Second chance to do it her way.

Last time, despite all the preparation, plans changed and she found herself caught up in the system and its (often unnecessary) meddling. The pool stayed empty.

But this time?
She trusted her body.
She declined what didn’t feel right.
She used every single tool, breath and bit of knowledge from her first pregnancy.
And she birthed her 9lb 5oz baby boy calmly at home, in water, on her terms.

This is why preparation matters.
This is why understanding physiology matters.
This is why confidence grows.

So incredibly proud of you. What a powerful, full-circle birth story 🤍🔥

✨ The Birth Masterclass ✨

If you’re planning a low-intervention birth — but quietly wondering how you actually protect that when things get intense…

Or if you’re feeling more worried than excited about birth…

Or if your partner keeps saying, “I just don’t know what I’m meant to do”…

This is for you.

In this small, in-person Birth Masterclass we cover:
• How birth physiology really works
• How to stay calm inside the maternity system
• How to advocate without confrontation
• How partners can protect the space instead of feeling helpless

This isn’t about rigid birth plans.

It’s about understanding what’s happening well enough that fear doesn’t run the room.

If you’re part of pregnancy yoga and want your partner to understand everything we talk about — this is their moment.

✨ Book with a friend and you both get £25 off.

Doors close Friday.

Message me “BIRTH” for details.

A slightly different post today — but one that really matters 🤍

I’m sharing this with permission from a Wild Embers mum, because what we build here goes far beyond bumps and babies.

She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer at 41. Her symptoms were subtle. No obvious lump. Her mammogram showed nothing. The only visible sign was a small skin dimple that appeared when she raised her arms above her head.

It was only fully revealed on a contrast MRI.

She is stage 2 with a good prognosis, four weeks post-mastectomy and about to begin chemotherapy. In her words: “I’ll be ok. See you on the other side.”

Her message is simple:
Not every lump is cancer.
Not every cancer is a lump.
Please check yourselves.
And most importantly… listen to your intuition.

Something else that feels important to say here…

In pregnancy and birth, we spend so much time learning how to tune in. How to soften the noise. How to listen to that quiet inner knowing. That skill — trusting your gut, recognising when something doesn’t feel right — can be incredibly powerful long after birth.

If something feels off, even if you can’t quite explain why, get it checked. Advocate for yourself. You know your body.

Support in this community runs deep. Holding her in so much love as she moves through treatment 🤍

💌

This Valentine’s Day, we’re not talking about roses or grand gestures.

We’re celebrating this kind of love 💕

The quiet, powerful love between mums and their babies.

Bumps growing. Babies in arms.

Shared breaths, shared stories, shared support.

Wild Embers was created to be a space where you feel held, seen, and deeply supported — through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Thank you to every mum who has trusted me with a piece of their journey. It’s an honour beyond words.

Happy Valentine’s 🤍

With so much love,
El x
