Today’s Salisbury team meeting was fuelled by delicious slices and exciting news. Luke, our Managing Director, shared some fantastic updates — we’ll soon be welcoming a new Registered Manager and a new Field Supervisor to the Spire Homecare family later this year.

This week we wave a temporary goodbye to our lovely Maisy as she begins her maternity leave. Maisy has been such an important part of our Spire Homecare family, bringing dedication, kindness, and a smile to everything she does. We’re so excited for this new chapter in her life and can’t wait to meet the newest little member of her family. 💛

Best of luck, Maisy — we’ll miss you and will be cheering you on every step of the way! 🩵

POST OF COMMENDATION

During one of Kathy’s visits, she noticed that her client was choking on their sandwich. Kathy reacted as we all hope we could.

Kathy was working on her client for a long moment, and whilst her client started to turn blue, Kathy was able to dislodge the food allowing her client to breath.

There is no doubt that her calm but quick action saved a life! We’re very proud of Kathy for performing the correctly trained actions to save this life.

Kathy is very humble but deserves all the praise possible 👏👏👏👏 Flower; Letter of Commendation, and a gift voucher of her choice is our way to say… Well done, Kathy.

This week we say goodbye to Macarena! One of our team leaders and most enthusiastic communicators!

Mac is off to Bristol for a new adventure. Whilst with Spire Homecare she gained her level three in adult care, as well as leaving an impact on carers and service users alike!

We will miss her, but we are excited for our new adventure!
