This morning, we took full advantage of the sunshine by starting with gardening club. We planted our seeldlings & bulbs out in the raised beds & repotted our wonderful sunflowers. Then enjoyed a lovely walk around the garden.😍🥰🌿🌱🪴🌷🌹💐🌾🌻🌞🌼🌸

Meet Lisa, Senior Care Assistant here at Old Sarum Manor!
Lisa joined the company in 2022 as a Care Assistant and was later promoted to Senior Care Assistant. She truly loves working at Old Sarum Manor and has a special bond with the residents she cares for. Her compassion and commitment make a real difference every day.
When she’s not at work, Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her family and going on holidays. Her love for her family and her adventures outside of work bring a wonderful balance to her life.

At Old Sarum Manor, we encourage residents to stay hydrated with our water dispenser in the café. It’s a simple way to remind everyone to drink plenty of fluids!

Last week, we were inspired by the London Marathon Runners. So we decided to cycle the route virtually. We set a goal of 26 miles in 2 days. All the staff got on board and even the wonderful Dr Dan spared some time to put in some miles. It was super fun and the residents loved watching us. We smashed 26 miles in one day. And altogether we cycled 36 miles. Well done team.🥳🙌💪🚴‍♀️🚴🚴

Next week, on the first Tuesday of every month, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, we're hosting our popular Coffee Morning — and everyone is welcome! Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and delicious cake, and take a tour of our lovely home.

We also accept donations to our current charity of the year, Alabare. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect, relax, and support a great cause.

Meet Mike, our Housekeeper here at Old Sarum Manor! Mike has been a valued member of our team for 7 months and is known for his commitment and friendly nature. He gets on with everyone and always brings a positive attitude to work every day.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys listening to music—his favourite artist is Eminem—and watching films and TV. He also has a passion for football, both watching and playing whenever he can. When he’s not at work, Mike spends time gardening, and he’s actively involved in community and charity events, including walking for Wards.

We’re so grateful to have Mike’s positive energy and dedication on our team!

Meet Sam, our amazing Care Assistant here at Old Sarum Manor! Sam joined our team in 2022 and has been a loved member by both staff and residents from the very beginning. Sam has a special talent for playing her clarinet, and she often brings it in to share her music with everyone, bringing smiles and happiness to those around her. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog Rosie for walks and going on holidays with her family. We're so grateful to have her on our team!
