The Happy Healing Hawthorne Yurt Both individual and group training available Warm, comfortable healing is our aim. With many year experience in holistic and physical therapy.

A 20ft round house/yurt on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Salisbury - Visitors will learn massage skills and techniques, a variety of self-help activities, cleansing and personal development. Your coach will guide you to a happier life... without the hefty price tag!

Unfortunately we are in battle with Wiltshire Council Housing who have not only told me that I must take the yurt down, but also that I am unable to hold a work permit anymore, meaning that I can’t do my portable massage work.

I am, of course still working and the yurt is still up as there’s no lawful reason for them to do this to us. No more reason either, we’ve always been overly polite to the council.

Please follow me on on Twitter. I’m trying to gain support because my life has been totally destroyed for years by Wiltshire councils failure to deal with my neighbours poor mental state.

It’s been horrifying and endless. From little boys too scared to play in their own garden, to now our home and my livelihood on the line.

While they have actually promoted the housing officer responsible for the failures.

I won’t be defeated (by anything but law) but I do need support.

Our beautiful yurt. We have big plans to make this whole space into a gorgeous urban paradise but as we all know. These things are a work in progress 🥰
I am sending intentions out into the world for a small Japanese inspired garden in the front, a beautiful bamboo screen down to the yurt and lots of pots of bonsais to add to that zen feeling.

My heart is begging me to do more reiki, to learn and growth with the people around me and to start my own little healing subculture here in Salisbury.

Summer solstice, 20th June 2021.
I’ve lived near and loved this beautiful monument since I was a child, the first solstice I attended here, was the summer solstice of my 14th birthday, I broke out of the house and just walked up! I was met with a world unlike any I’d known before. People, togetherness, happiness, love.

Now I have learned so much about this beautiful celebration and the mystery of this incredible National monument.

The celebration at Stonehenge begins at 19.00 and goes on until 10am the next day. We are offering our beautiful yurt space, for up to 6 spiritual voyagers, we will discuss the reason why this celebration is so important and why so many flock here.
You’ll be well fed, cared for and then we will process up to the stones for the celebration. The yurt provides a peaceful and cool space to recover during the day.

Phew! That’s us done for the day, yurt up and carpets down. Happy dog relaxing on meditation mat and our fabulous ‘new’ thermal curtains. They are double sided and taking the place of the old, broken wooden doors. We plan on adding proper doors to our porch when it comes in August, but until then the curtains will provide warmth, colour and privacy.

Still on course for a ‘soft’ opening on the 4th; when people can come and trial the therapies I have on offer 🥰
