In the last of our videos on nursing care this month, we wanted to highlight that sometimes, the biggest difference nursing care makes is in the confidence it gives, to residents and to their families.

From monitoring long-term conditions to responding quickly when something doesn’t feel quite right, our nurses are there with reassurance, expertise and kindness; every day and every night.

Thinking about taking your tree down this weekend?

The 12 days of Christmas may be drawing to a close, but the Christmas season itself continues right through Epiphany, from 6 January to 2 February, ending on Candlemas. Our beautiful Nordmann Fir will be staying in place until then, so there’s still plenty of time to enjoy its glow.

📱 – when you are not certain and or need advice on the most appropriate service to access
🏥Local Minor Injuries Unit – Located in Andover, this service can help with treating minor head injuries, facial and eye injuries and fractures
🏥Salisbury Walk In Centre – 18:30 to 22:00 weekdays and 08:00 – 20:00 weekends
🏥GP – Follow usual routes for appointments

Please be aware that extended waiting times are likely, while we prioritise the most seriously unwell patients.

Join us for Midnight Mass, as we celebrate the start of Christmas by sharing communion and hearing the Christmas Gospel. With carols and beautiful music from the Cathedral Choir and organ, this is the perfect way to welcome in Christmas Day.

For those seeking traditional carols, our beautiful Carols by Candlelight services are unmissable. Join us at these beautiful candlelit services, featuring Bible readings, favourite carols, and choral works sung by our Cathedral Choir as they tell the age-old story of Jesus’ birth.

The services are free to attend and no booking is required. Due to popularity, we will issue queue numbers each night to ensure fair access to the Cathedral. This service will also be livestreamed on Monday and will remain on our YouTube channel until 6 January.
