☕ Brian won this treat at our Summer Fete, and it was enjoyed to the fullest.

🎄✨ Festive High Tea at 3 and You’re Invited! ✨🎄

We’re spreading some Christmas cheer this December at Caring Homes! On Wednesday 3 December, friends, family and our local community are warmly invited to join us for a very special Festive Afternoon Tea at 3. 💜☕

Our much-loved tea trolley will be getting a seasonal makeover, filled with delicious homemade treats for everyone to enjoy, including:

🍰 Eggnog cupcakes
🍪 Gingerbread cookies (perfect for decorating!)
🍫 Chocolate yule log
🍒 Traditional Christmas cake
🥧 Mince pies galore

It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with loved ones, enjoy a cup of tea and share in the festive spirit with our residents and team. 💫

Supporting Our Jamaican Staff & Their Families

At Laverstock Centre, we are more than a team — we are a family.
In light of the devastating hurricane and floods in Jamaica, many of our wonderful Jamaican staff members have loved ones back home who are facing unimaginable challenges.

We want them to know: you are not alone.
Your Laverstock family stands with you, and we are wrapping you in love, strength, and support during this difficult time. ❤️

We are reaching out to our local community, friends, and families to join us in supporting those affected. If you are able to help in any way — whether through donations, supplies, messages of encouragement, or simply spreading awareness — it would mean the world.

🌟 A Very Special Message for Our Resident at Laverstock Care Centre 🌟

We were delighted to receive a beautiful letter from the Office of The Prince and Princess of Wales, written in response to a heartfelt message sent by one of our wonderful residents.

The letter expressed Their Royal Highnesses’ heartfelt gratitude for her lifelong support and included a special photograph as a token of appreciation.

A warm thank-you to James Dawson, Head of Royal Correspondence, for their kind words on behalf of Their Royal Highnesses.

Moments like this mean so much, and it brought great joy to our resident and our whole Laverstock community.

🌟 Celebrating Success at Laverstock Care Centre! 🌟

We’re so proud to celebrate Pierre, who has been a valued member of our Laverstock Care Centre team for the past four years! 👏

Pierre has successfully achieved his Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship — a fantastic accomplishment that reflects his dedication, hard work, and passion for continuous learning.

Here’s what Pierre had to say about his journey:

“I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the apprenticeship program. My time spent during the apprenticeship has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to acquire new skills and significantly boost my professional confidence. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on experience and the collaborative environment fostered by the team. The ability to contribute to my project was a highlight of my journey. I am eager to leverage the knowledge and experience gained in future endeavours.”

Pierre, we’re thrilled to see your growth and achievements, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! 💙

Thank you to every resident, staff member, and friend who came together today to support our fundraising efforts and help us all become more aware of stroke signs and prevention. The sea of purple was fantastic!
