🌸We will be closed for the Early May Bank Holiday on Monday 4th May 2026.

If you require medical assistance please contact 111 or in an emergency dial 999.

Many NHS pharmacies remain open on bank holidays for reduced hours to provide urgent care and prescriptions. Use the NHS Find a Pharmacy Tool to check specific local opening times. You can also visit 111.nhs.uk for help with urgent medicines.

We would like to wish all of patients an enjoyable Bank Holiday Weekend.🌼

Changes to prescription fee exemptions:

From 14th April, some of the rules around prescription fee exemptions are changing.

Patients can no longer claim exemption from prescription charges if they are receiving:

Income Support, or Income-based Job seekers allowance

However, if you receive Income related Employment & support allowance, you will still qualify for exemption (please tick box H on your prescription form).

If you are receiving Universal Credit (box U), you may still be eligible for free prescriptions, but this depends on whether you meet the Government’s criteria.

If you are unsure about your eligibility for Universal Credit, at the time of collecting your prescription, you will need to pay the prescription charge. You can then request a refund by asking the dispensary team for an FP57 refund form.

For further information, please visit:

Not everyone getting Universal Credit is entitled to help with their health costs. You are only entitled to claim for help with health costs if your total take-home pay for your household in your last Universal Credit assessment period was below a specific amount.Your household's total take-home pay....
