Some common reasons are;
⭐️ Pregnancy
Help with pregnancy related pain, guided exercise for complex pregnancy or pre-existing medical conditions, address continence or prolapse symptoms as well as help with birth preparation.
⭐️ Postnatal
Mummy MOT for a detailed assessment of physical recovery following pregnancy and birth. Emphasis on pelvic floor function, scar tissue management of perineal tears and C-section, screen for prolapse and bladder and bowel function as well as a guided return to exercise.
⭐️ Pelvic pain
Specialist treatment for both male and female pelvic pain as a result of a range of conditions such as endometriosis, bladder pain and prostatitis.
⭐️Menopause
A common time to first experience new or increased symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction such as prolapse, leaking or vulval pain. Arranging a Menopause MOT is a great opportunity to take a proactive approach to pelvic health.

Constipation, urgency, stool or gas leakage can all be improved with pelvic health physio. We work with your GP or consultant to help optimise bowel function.
⭐️Exercise related hip/pelvic pain
Persistent hip or groin pain caused or limiting exercise can often be as a result of pelvic floor dysfunction. A detailed assessment of the pelvic floor muscles can be so important in resolving symptoms in this tricky area.
