I was gifted a sample of Violet (Viola odorata) essential oil a while ago. When I find a new oil I like to sit with it and get to know it. Violets were the first perfume I was given as a child sent by my grandmother. ( I think I was poorly) and I've loved the floral aroma ever since. I was intrigued by the oil which is helpful for grief and sorrow. My mum's favourite chocolates were violet and rose creams. So I spent an indulgent half hour tasting violet creams courtesy of and making a roller ball blend of violet, rose otto and palo santo oils. A heady and mix indeed! I totally recommend popping into the chocolate shop next time you're in and if you'd like to experience the aroma and get to know the oils used in the chocolates pop me a message!

Introducing… Wilton Village.

After a huge amount of work behind the scenes, we’re proud to share the revival of this historic site — a place many of you will remember as The Guild or Wilton Shopping Village. Now, we’re simplifying the name and stepping forward as Wilton Village.

As we make this transition, you may still see the old names appearing in places for a little while — signage, maps, online listings and a few bits around the site will take time to fully update. Please bear with us while everything catches up; it’s all part of the process as we move into this new chapter.

Set within the old Wilton carpet mill, the village is entering a new era. We’ve been busy refreshing the look and feel of the site, restoring spaces, welcoming new independent businesses, and laying the foundations for an exciting future. The goal is simple: to create a vibrant shopping and leisure destination that honours its heritage while building something fresh, modern and full of life.

This is just the start. There’s more to come, more to reveal, and plenty happening over the next few months as Wilton Village grows into the place it’s meant to be!

Well ECA 2025 you didn't disappoint, another first and another rite of passage for me since Sean and I was feeling very nervous. What a wonderful weekend meeting people I've only seen on Zoom, making new friends and learning oh so much! Brilliant speakers and lots of inspiration. Thank you University of Bath you have the prettiest campus and were such friendly hosts. Rhiannon Lewis your passion and devotion to clinical aromatherapy use is awe inspiring and it was so lovely to see you. Helen Nagle-Smith lovely to meet you & thank you for signing my books, (and looking after me) can't wait to read your latest edition. Sue Adlam well, what can I say, we've finally met up and now need to plan an aromatic cuppa!
