Happy New Year everyone ✨
Who’s hoping for a calmer, more energised 2026?

Last year, many clients felt overwhelmed.
Low energy.
Low mood.
Hormone and fertility struggles.
Not feeling like themselves.

This year, the focus is resilience 💛

I can’t remove every external stressor.
I wish I could.

What we can do is build your ability to cope better 🌱
So stress doesn’t run your day or your health.

That might start with testing.
Understanding nutrient needs and imbalances 🧪

It could be a more personalised nutrition or supplement plan.
Or simple lifestyle strategies you can actually stick to.

Small, practical changes.
Done daily.

I’d love to walk alongside you this year.
Supporting you towards a calmer, stronger, more resilient 2026 💚

Happy New Year and welcome back ✨
January has been a really positive start.

I’ve loved being back at work and supporting clients again 💛

One theme keeps coming up.
Knowing your starting point.

Your baseline matters.

If weight loss is your goal, where are you today?
Where would you like to be?
And is that realistic for you?

Have you ever been that weight before?

Measurements can be powerful.
So can functional blood testing 🧪

They help you understand where you are now.
They also help you track progress properly.

Don’t be afraid to find out.
Awareness is the first step forward 🌱

If you’d like support with baseline testing, reach out.
We’re here to help you start your health journey with clarity and confidence 💚

Did you know sleep needs aren’t the same for everyone? 😴

Much of the eight-hour sleep advice is based on research in men.
For many women, especially at this time of year, closer to ten hours can be more supportive 💛

Sleep is the foundation of any health change.
Without it, motivation drops fast.

Poor sleep affects mood, energy, and focus.
It also disrupts appetite signals and increases cravings 🍫

That’s one reason sleep deprivation is linked to weight gain.

Sleep is when the body repairs and renews itself ✨
It supports exercise recovery and immune function too.

And let’s be honest.
When you’re tired, ill, and grumpy, healthy habits feel much harder.

If you’re struggling to fall asleep or don’t feel rested, you’re not alone.
There are many reasons sleep can be disrupted.

Support with sleep can make every other health goal feel easier 🌙
Good night 💫

I hope you’ve all had a lovely festive season 🎄
I certainly did, and today I’m lucky enough to be out in the snow ❄️

This time of year often brings pressure to change everything.
Try not to push it.

Choose something gentle.
Something attainable.
And stick with that 🌱

For me, it’s simple.
I always make time to get outside every day.

Some days it’s snow.
Other days it’s the forest.
It doesn’t matter where 🌳

Fresh air.
Deep breaths.
A bit of movement.
Just enough to get the heart pumping 💚

You’ll feel better physically.
And often even more so mentally.

Small steps really do add up.
Happy New Year ✨

New year. Same you. And that’s perfectly okay 💛

This isn’t about reinventing yourself.
It’s about noticing what quietly stresses you out.

Ask yourself one simple question ✨
What frustrates me or raises my stress levels?

Then ask another.
Is there something small I can do about it?

If you can’t control the stressor, manage the response 🌿
Deep breathing while washing your hands.
Pausing for a moment of calm.
Grounding yourself through the day.

If your mind feels busy or scattered, lighten the load 🧠
Write things down.
Use a notebook or diary.
Get it out of your head and onto paper.

That alone can release so much mental pressure.

This isn’t about change for the sake of it.
It’s about reducing stress and feeling calmer.
More present.
More at ease.

And yes.
Walking every day helps too 🚶‍♀️🌳

After a fun festive season with late nights, wine, and treats, it felt time for a gentle reset ✨

Not a strict New Year’s resolution.
Just a small habit that feels good and doable.

Every Monday morning, a friend and I now walk in nature 🌿
Sometimes the Welsh mountains.
Sometimes local lakes.
Sometimes just a quiet forest path.

That time is for reflection, laughter, connection, and fresh air 💚
It helps us slow down, talk honestly, and enjoy the present moment.

For me, it’s also about gratitude 🙏
Gratitude for my health, my work, my family, and my friends.

Looking after my own mind, body, and spirit helps me show up better for my patients too.

Small habits.
Simple changes.
Support that lasts all year 🌱

🤒💜 If you are recovering from flu here is some gentle natural support
Your body needs care not pressure.
Small nurturing steps can really help.

😴 Deep rest
Your body heals when you slow down.
Rest helps your immune system fight infection and inflammation.

🍵 Herbal teas
Fresh thyme ginger and turmeric can be soothing and supportive.
They may also help calm inflammation.

💧 Stay hydrated
Fluids are essential when your body is fighting illness.

🔥 Sauna support if appropriate
It can encourage sweating and support the body’s detox pathways.
Only if you feel well enough.

🌿 Immune nourishing foods
Garlic onions royal honey elderberry and turmeric are wonderful flu companions.

🍛 Warming spicy meals
A curry with garlic ginger onions and chilli can help clear congestion and feel comforting.

Always listen to your body and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or do not improve.

Sending you lots of healing support. 💜✨

🎄♻️ Christmas is a time for joy but it is also a time when plastic use skyrockets.
This December I am sharing 24 days of less plastic and it has sparked some important conversations.

Daily exposure to toxins linked with plastics can affect health over time.
Including hormone balance respiratory health and brain development.
This is not about perfection or guilt.
It is about informed choices. 💜

Here are some gentle ideas for a lower plastic Christmas.

🎁 Choose plastic free gifts
Think homemade wooden or second hand.
If gifts arrive wrapped in plastic or polystyrene remove it straight away.
If you can smell it that is your cue it is not harmless.

🎟️ Give experiences instead of things
Days out memories and time together mean more than packaging.

🎅 Rethink stockings
Useful thoughtful items rather than throwaway plastic fillers.

🎁 Wrap differently
Use brown paper newspaper or fabric with string.
Avoid glitter as it is plastic and non recyclable.

🍽️ Skip disposable plates and cutlery
They go straight to landfill and eventually back into our environment.

♻️ Recycle properly
Following genuine recycling guidelines helps the whole system work better.

🌿 Decorate naturally
Forage create paper chains and use natural materials where you can.

Small changes really do add up.
And they help protect both our children and the planet they are growing up on. ✨

If you are concerned about toxin exposure or children’s health please message us.
There is a lot we can support you with. 💜

🎄✨ We are well and truly into the festive season.
This is not a time for strict rules.
It is about joy connection and enjoying good food.

But it is also okay to want to feel good while you celebrate.
One gentle way to do that is by supporting your gut before rich meals.
No restriction.
No guilt.
Just a small head start for your digestion. 💜

🥬 Start with something green
A small leafy salad before your main meal helps switch digestion on.
This can make richer foods easier to break down later.

🍓 Add berries when you can
Cranberries are in season right now.
They are rich in polyphenols and antioxidants and feed gut bacteria.

🥕 Fill your plate with seasonal roots
Parsnips sweet potatoes and carrots are fibre rich and nourishing.
They help support digestion and keep things moving.

🥜 Choose unsalted nuts for snacks
They keep you fuller for longer and help reduce mindless grazing.

These small choices do not take anything away from the foods you love.
They simply help your body feel more supported balanced and nourished through the season. ✨

❄️🚶‍♀️ Feeling flat tired or low in mood this winter
One of the simplest things I recommend is walking.

Even five to ten minutes around the block can make a real difference.
Especially during the darker winter months and the busy Christmas period. 🎄

Walking gently nourishes your nervous system.
It helps lower cortisol and supports better hormone balance.
This builds resilience when life feels stressful.

💓 It supports circulation.
🔥 It boosts metabolism.
😊 It naturally lifts mood.

If your energy feels low your digestion feels sluggish or you just feel a bit flat, get outside.
Even on cold or rainy days.
Wrap up and walk anyway.

Those small daily walks add up quickly.
And the benefits are powerful. 💜✨

💻🧘‍♀️ If you spend long hours at a desk this one is for you.

I spend a lot of time desk-bound these days.
I am lucky to use a sit-stand desk so I can alternate between standing and sitting.
But movement still matters.

Here are a few simple stretches I borrow from my yoga practice to loosen up during long workdays.

🧠 Neck release
Place your hands behind your head.
Gently nod forwards and back to release neck tension.

🌵 Mid-back twist
Bring your arms into cactus shape.
Gently twist side to side to release the middle back.

⬆️ Upper-back mobility
Lift and lower the arms slowly to ease stiffness across the shoulders and upper back.

🐈 Desk cat-cow
Place your hands on the desk.
Round your back.
Then flatten it out.
Repeat slowly.

🧎 Desk child’s pose
Walk your hands forward on the desk.
Hinge at the hips and fold down gently.
This mimics a supported child’s pose and stretches the spine.

Try to move every 30 minutes.
Make a cup of tea.
Step into the garden.
Get fresh air and natural light.
Small breaks make a big difference. 🌿✨
