Our first week in Sierra Leone- I realised it all looks very relaxing and ‘holiday’ like. 🇸🇱🇸🇱. Behind the scenes: Abigail & piran started their first week of school. 🥺 Piran had daily melt downs after school from being so tired & stimulated. 🧑‍✈️Ian worked long hours with his team to get the ship ready for all the new crew/patients. 👩‍💻I inadvertently started training for a new job to cover someone going on personal time off.
To add to the crazy, I’m on this personal mission to find out and experience how most departments on this ship works, which involved me working in dining room 👨‍🍳for one shift (respect for those guys - they truly work so hard!)
And did 2 shifts in hospitality (housekeeping). 🧹🫧🛀🧽🧼
Among all the crazy we find the peace. Family time is precious… today we’ll explore Sierra Leone for the first time✌️✌️🕊️

We’ve made it onto the ferry to jersey!!!😅 2 x very drugged up cats in the car, top box & 2 children and remarkably realised I’ve never driven myself onto a ferry. A year of firsts….

Elizma Lawrence is a highly qualified beauty therapist with more than 20 years experience working in spas across the world. Originally trained in South Africa, her international qualifications have enabled her to work in spas in the USA, Australia, Asia, London and the Channel Islands.

Through this experience, Elizma has gained expertise in an extensive range of medi-spa treatments including LPG Endermologie, non-surgical facelifts, Chromos laser and micro-dermal abrasion as well as becoming an award winning make-up artist along the way!

In 2013, Elizma used this knowledge and expertise to launch her own beauty & medi-spa salon.
