This year I upped my game from MASCED ACCREDITATION to MASCED PRO - Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection) Training Programme.❤️ Fantastic course

☀️1 in 36 Men and 1in 47 women will be diagnosed with melanoma.

☀️Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) is the direct cause of 90% of skin cancer cases.

☀️When the UV Index is 3 or above, use the following ‘FIVE S’ approach to sun safety :

SLIP ON CLOTHING 👚
The first line of defence against UV - aim to cover as much skin as possible

SLOP ON SUNSCREEY 🧴
Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen with UVA protection every two hours.

SLAP ON HAT 👒
Wear a wide-brimmed hat to protect the scalp and shade the face and neck.

SLIDE ON SUNGLASSES 😎
Wear quality sunglasses with UV protection to protect the eyes.

SHADE FROM THE SUN ⛱️
Seek shade whenever possible, especially between 11am and 3pm.
