Barely anyone talks about out of bounds planets — and they really should. 🪐
I just finished recording the OOB lesson for module 7 of my astrology course and had to bring this here, because this is one of those placements that explains so much.
When a planet moves beyond 23°27’ declination — past the Sun’s maximum range — it operates outside the normal rules. More intense. More unconventional. Less socially calibrated.
And the Moon out of bounds? That’s the one that comes up most often. If you’ve always felt things more deeply than the people around you. If your emotional responses don’t seem to follow the same scale everyone else is using. If you’ve been told you’re “too sensitive” or “too intense” — an OOB Moon might be exactly why. The gift is extraordinary intuition and emotional depth. The challenge is that the world can feel very loud when you’re built to feel everything at full volume.
You can check if your Moon — or any planet — is out of bounds for free on Astro-seek. Go to your birth chart and look at the declination table. Anything above 23°27’ north or south is OOB. Want to learn how to read this properly alongside the rest of your chart? check out my self paced course
