For Ages 7–13

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to keep your kids engaged this summer?
Our Mini Medics First Aid Workshop is the perfect blend of play and learning, designed to introduce children to essential first aid skills in a fun, interactive environment!

📅 Dates:
• Friday, 8th August
• Thursday, 14th August

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: First Training, Saltash

Kids will take part in games, hands-on activities, and practical learning—all focused on how to stay calm and help in an emergency.

Mini Medics - 28th May 2025
What a fantastic morning! Ten children took part in the Mini Medics session, learning vital First Aid skills and having fun while doing it. It was wonderful to see them so engaged, gaining confidence and knowledge that could one day save lives.
Thank you to all that attended.
More courses to come in the summer holidays!

Stay safe in the sun!

Sunburn increases your risk of skin cancer. Sunburn does not just happen on holiday. You can burn in the UK, even when it's cloudy.
There's no safe or healthy way to get a tan. A tan does not protect your skin from the sun's harmful effects.

Aim to strike a balance between protecting yourself from the sun and getting enough vitamin D from sunlight..

Sun safety tips
Spend time in the shade when the sun is strongest. In the UK, this is between 11am and 3pm from March to October.

Make sure you:

spend time in the shade between 11am and 3pm

never burn

cover up with suitable clothing and sunglasses

take extra care with children

use at least factor 30 sunscreen
