✨ Softening Smokers Lines with Natural Filler ✨

Our lovely patient came to us wanting to reduce the fine vertical lines around her lips – often called smokers lines or lipstick lines. She was happy to explore treatment and understood these were stress lines – which often start as soft lines, and are much more treatable in the early stages.

To achieve a natural, rejuvenated look, we used a combination approach:

▪️1.5ml of lip filler was carefully placed to support the lip structure without overfilling.
▪️ Dermal filler was gently layered into the lines above the lip to soften and smooth the area.
▪️ We also added cheek filler to subtly lift the mid-face, which helped reduce the appearance of early jowling and softened the lower face overall.

▪️ What’s the difference between soft lines and stress lines?
Soft lines are early, surface-level creases – often from age or lifestyle – and respond well to treatment.
Stress lines are deeper and more set in, often from repeated tension or movement. These can be softened, but not fully removed – and that’s completely normal.

She naturally had a dimpled chin and M‑shaped lips — a shape where the upper lip dips into a soft “M”, which can sometimes look uneven or flat when smiling.

To create harmony:
• We used 1ml of lip filler to enhance her natural shape, smooth the “M”, and add subtle volume.
• We placed 2ml of chin filler to smooth her dimple, elongate her profile, and balance her lower face with the rest of her features.
