Let’s talk about some common misconceptions in aesthetics👇

1️⃣ “Same treatment = same results”
Wrong. What works for one person can look completely different on another. Every face is unique — treatment plans should be too.

2️⃣ “Every line needs to be treated”
Not true. Expression lines are part of being human — they show we’ve lived, laughed, and felt deeply. A natural result means knowing what to soften, and what to leave alone.

3️⃣ “SPF is only needed when it’s sunny”
False. UV exposure happens daily, even through clouds and windows. Daily SPF = long-term prevention.

4️⃣ “Prescription skincare” means it’s prescribed
Not always. It’s often a marketing term. Unless it comes from a medical professional, it’s not truly prescription-grade.

Today, on International Nurses Day, we celebrate how far nursing has come and the powerful role nurses play in shaping the future of healthcare.

When asked what I love most about nursing I’d have to say it’s my ability to help, care and advocate. I’ve taken that seriously since I was a student. I am my patient’s nurse, their advisor, their truth-teller, and their hand to hold. No matter the specialty.

Based in Sandbach, cheshire and led by Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner Amy Bird a trained Nurse Prescriber, clients can trust all treatments are being carried out with confidence of best practice and client safety at the forefront at all times by a trained professional. Abiding by industry standards and regulations, and practicing within the NMC guidelines all treatments carried out are with up to date training and full insurance.

Amy is confident in achieving the most natural of skin rejuvenating treatments but still giving that youthful and revitalized appearance, whether this is with injectable’s or skin care treatments.
