My client, a lifelong shade 1b beauty, (1b is the darkest brown shade below black) finally made the change we've been talking about for years! 🙌🏼 Last month, we went a shade lighter with a gorgeous soft balayage effect. Birthday glow up ready for the 50’s chapter.
I get asked a lot is my hair too long for my age…. My answer is always as long as everything looks completely natural age does not matter when it comes to length. Years ago ladies did not have the options we have now; from having babies, going through menopause and due to many other factors, our hair naturally thins as we age, so the only way to stop hair looking thinner was to have shorter cuts. Luckily we are in an era where anything is possible hair wise. So if you are toying with whether to go shorter for age appropriation, definitely explore some options firstly before succumbing to the chop ✂️ having beautiful hair isn’t just for the under 40’s it’s for life 🥰 ❤️

Helloooo from Thailand! 👋🏼 Just a little message to remind everyone I’m away on holiday until the 12th August, but the girls are still available on inbox on here and also at the salon within our opening times 01270748910 🩷

We are having an absolute amazing time! This is the first holiday I’ve needed to be a complete water baby, as I usually avoid pools/sea 🙈 so far my hair is still in tact colour wise and condition 🙌🏼 I’ll post all my tips, tricks and product recommendations at the end of my trip as I don’t want to speak too soon, but it’s all positive currently!

Just a little note to say I’ll be on annual leave from Saturday 26th July - 12th August, so if you need me please contact me ASAP. I’m taking some precious family time and won’t be available for hair talk personally until I’m back in work. The salon is still open so please don’t worry. Please feel free to contact us as usual on Facebook and insta and the girls will reply in due course. Or obviously the easiest thing is to call the salon within our opening times.

With it being the holidays we are really limited on appointments until September, so please bare this in mind if you need to reschedule. I’ll publish any remaining availability over the next day or two.

This colour is just beautiful! A multi-tonal ash masterpiece 🩶🤎🤍 we used 128grams 16” nano weft using our favs shades 9/613 and T5 - 5/55 mixed. This beauty gets married soon, have the most amazing day!.

This gorgeous girl was a first time visitor of the salon. We discussed hair health in depth within her consultation as her natural hair was showing signs of stress and chemical damage. Luckily her roots are perfectly healthy so we were able to fit hair extensions safely. I can’t wait to see her natural hair regain some health in the future 🙏🏼 but for now she’s got beautiful hair she can enjoy again.

| Bonded Hair Extensions |
Why do we love bonds you may ask? One of the main reasons is unlike other single stranded methods we have total control over the size of the bond and the section of bio hair we can attach the extension too. We know nano ring extensions are popular currently. I have a running joke that I could open a new salon with the about of requests for nanos but it’s not a method I would ever work with because I don’t find them particularly safe for a few reasons 😬 bonded hair extensions when fit, maintained and removed correctly, are super safe for your natural hair and can be completely tailored to suit. ☀️ SUNSHINE and SUNCREAMS ☀️
Just a little reminder to all my clients that UV rays will fade your hair extension colour and can cause discolouration super quick! Minutes can make a difference.
Suncream is so important, but sadly it will 💯 discolour your hair too.
My advice is try and keep in shade, wear a hat if possible and tie hair back if you have applied suncream. Also always remember to give your hands a really good wash after applying and if you do take your hair down later and the suncream has not been washed off your skin, you are still in the danger zone for those pesky molecules to sit on the hair causing the discolouration….
We’ve seen a few casualties already this year already 🙈 hopefully it won’t be you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
