A regular therapeutic yoga practice has been proven to be beneficial to help with depression and anxiety, recovery from cancer treatments, joint problems such as arthritis, Parkinson's Disease
and Multiple Sclerosis as well as many cardiovascular problems such as high blood pressure, strokes and heart attack. A therapeutic yoga practice is not an alternative to medical and pharmaceutical care provided by doctors but is a complimentary practice which helps people develop a compassion for themselves and their condition.
