MLD Dynamic Facial massage is now offered as a standalone treatment at TherapyFit Body Clinic 😊

Manual lymphatic (MLD) massages help reduce swelling, improve circulation & support the immune system.
Due to popular demand, you can now book a facial, neck & shoulder lymphatic massage with me.
This can help facial puffiness, sinus issues & help improve circulation & the tone of facial muscles.
In a dedicated Dynamic Facial MLD session, not only will I perform MLD strokes on your neck, face & shoulders but I’ll also carry out a facial dynamic cupping routine using the smaller facial lymph cups to glide across your skin & help with lymph drainage & muscle tone. This routine leaves a healthy glow to your skin, but leaves no cupping marks.
If I’ve never seen you for a MLD treatment, book in using the 45 min MLD Dynamic Facial Initial Consultation & Treatment option. Or, if I have seen you for a MLD treatment, book in using the 30 min follow up MLD Dynamic Facial option.

Treatment Rooms

TherapyFit Body Clinic is located directly opposite its sister clinic TherapyFit Treatments, along the same corridor within the Jewellery Business Centre.
The clinics have a privacy screen / curtain and blinds to allow clients to comfortably get ready for their treatment session.
The treatments take place on a heated electric massage table that can be lowered and adjusted for each individual or on a seated massage chair.

I am Farah & in 2017, together with my husband Bal Sidhu, we formed what is now known as TherapyFit Group. We are iTEC level 5 sports massage therapists & directors of our businesses.

We set up Bal’s business first, TherapyFit Treatments & after I had yet another ankle injury in 2019, I realised how much soft tissue therapy plays a key role in the recovery process & enables individuals to get back to full mobility faster. This is when I started my training as a sports massage therapist & my interest grew.

During my rehabilitation I also saw there were limited services where you could get female only treatments, & this is where the concept for my female only business was born & TherapyFit Body Clinic came about.

We are constantly updating our qualifications or carrying out CPD training to ensure we can bring new skills & treatments to help our patients. Bal is also an experienced personal trainer & I am qualified in gym based exercises so we’ll always offer our patients rehabilitation exercise programmes to help your body feel & move better.

We are also qualified in offering various other treatments such as pregnancy massage, manual lymphatic drainage massage, oncology cancer massage, dry cupping, dry needling, osteopathic articulation, joint mobilisation & kinesiology taping to name some.

TherapyFit Body Clinic, the ladies only clinic & TherapyFit Treatments are located in the Jewellery Business Centre at 95 Spencer Street, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham B18 6DA. We are on a one way road so if you see the Jewellers Arms Pub on your right at the mini roundabout, the Jewellery Business Centre is just opposite. We are a few minutes walk from the Jewellery Quarter train & tram station & also the JQ Clock.
The centre has a stunning front door so you can’t miss it & a welcoming reception area 🤗

If you train often & hard, then injuries are possible. So make sure you take time out for your self care, to keep those muscles in tip-top condition with rest & recovery and maintenance massages - your body will thank you in the long run.
When you train often, you know how your body responds & moves. If something feels off, then don’t push through it, come & get yourself assessed & treated.

Being an iTEC level 5 sports massage therapist means I’m trained to recognise neurological problems, affecting your nerves.
Always make sure you know what level your therapist it trained to-
Level 3 can treat for pre and post sporting events, so general massage
Level 4 can treat for pain & injury
Level 5 can treat for all of the above plus advanced conditions including nerve pain.
Additionally I’m trained in dry cupping, dry needling, medical acupuncture, IASTM, kinesiology taping, osteopathic articulation techniques & joint mobilisation.
Plus pregnancy massage, oncology massage & manual lymphatic drainage massage for general well being or for pre & post-operative surgery.

When you attend your first session I carry out a posture assessment & range of movement testing. After your massage treatment, I’ll also give you some rehabilitation exercises to help you in the long term.
Massage will relieve the tension & pain in your body but exercise will build up the strength & conditioning to support your body in the long run 🤗
