I walked into my favorite coffee shop, and there she was—my younger self. She looked up at me with curious eyes, a mix of excitement and uncertainty. I smiled, sitting across from her, feeling a wave of nostalgia.
“You won’t believe how things turn out,” I told her. “You’re stronger than you realize.”
She fidgeted with her tea cup, while I had chosen an oat latte, to hear more. “But what about all the doubts I have?” she asked.
I laughed gently. “You’ll still have doubts, but you’ll learn to trust yourself more. And the relationships that challenge you? They will shape you into a strong, resilient woman. Every heartbreak, every lesson—it all makes you wiser, braver.”
She looked down, as if absorbing my words. “So, I make it through?”
I nodded. “Not just through—you thrive. You achieve your degree, you travel, you experience more than you ever thought possible. And the best part? You become a mother to two beautiful daughters who will fill your world with love and purpose.”
Tears welled up in her eyes, but this time, they weren’t from fear—they were from hope. She smiled, holding her tea a little tighter.
“Thank you,” she whispered.
I reached across the table, squeezing her hand. “Keep going. Trust yourself. You are exactly where you need to be.”
As we sat in quiet understanding, I knew she would walk away with a little more confidence. And I walked away with deep gratitude for the journey that brought me here.
