No matter the colour, the message is the same: you are not alone, and support is out there.

Hey, you need to know this .....

Workplace accidents can happen in a flash, and one wrong move can turn a small incident into into a serious emergency.

Here are 3 common mistakes that can make things go from bad to worryingly out of control:

1️⃣ Delaying the 999 call. Even if it seems minor, don’t wait. Time matters.

2️⃣ Putting butter, cream, or ice on burns. Old myths die hard. The right move? Cool the burn under running water for at least 20 minutes.

3️⃣ Moving someone after a fall. Unless they’re in immediate danger, keep them still. Moving them could worsen spinal or internal injuries. Wait for trained help.

How to prevent these mistakes?

✅ Keep your first aid training up to date
✅ Make sure your first aid kit is easy to access
✅ Build a workplace culture where asking for help is encouraged

Remember! Knowing what not to do is just as vital as knowing what to do.
Your workplace is only as safe as the people in it.
