My name is Sarah, I’m 24, originally from Newcastle and I travelled to London for University in 2014. I will be moving to Great Dunmow next month from Hertfordshire.
I am messaging you today to see if I can gain any support in my Masters degree. I start my Masters in October in ‘Working with children, young people & families: a psychoanalytic observational approach’ with The Tavistock and Portman Clinic in London; who have been at the forefront of exploring mental health and wellbeing since the First World War. I have a clear full enhanced DBS and have a supporting letter from the Tavistock and Portman Clinic confirming my studies.
As part of my studies, I will have to complete observations of a baby over the duration of two years for once a week (WEDNESDAYS)for one hour in the family home. So therefor I need support with finding a expectant mother whom will support this. This will be in term time only and respectful of family commitments.
What do families get out of this? The bigger picture ....they help a student in their studies and in result I can support the next generation of children with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
I am reaching out as I don’t have many contacts and really need support in finding a family to support me within my studies. If you know of someone who is having a baby post-October and are willing to help me out please contact me at sarahmcveigh45@gmail.com.
