Last week, we had the privilege of setting up a stand at Morrisons in Hadleigh, speaking about Christies Care services in the area and promoting our new free community group in Polstead.

We spoke to such wonderful people who were interested, and even ran into our very own client and carer doing some shopping!

🌟 We're launching something extra special next month! 🌟

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new monthly community group, The Polstead Community Natter. Connecting Communities and bringing people together in a friendly, welcoming space.

In partnership with the Polstead Parish, we invite people of all ages from the surrounding communities to join this free monthly group, featuring guest speakers, entertainment, activities, refreshments and more.

📅 Start Date: Wednesday 1st April
🗓 When: First Wednesday of every month (ongoing)
⏰ Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm
📍 Venue: Polstead Village Hall
♿ Accessibile Access
🎟 Cost: Free to attend – no booking required

🎤 April (Launch Session): Juliette singing
🎯 May: Boccia with Angela
🧶 June: Blanketeers with Ana
⛑ July: First Aid session with our Training Team

A moment to remember and honour the lives lost during the pandemic, and to recognise the strength and sacrifices of families, frontline workers, and communities who carried us through such difficult times.💙

Need to update your simple Will? This month you can do it for FREE and for a good cause!

Throughout March, Free Wills Month is offering people aged 55 and over the opportunity to have a simple Will written or updated completely free of charge by participating solicitors across the UK.

Appointments are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and once they’re gone the campaign will close — which may be before the end of the month.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this, now is a great time to get things in place and gain peace of mind for the future.

We popped into the lovely 21 Young Hearts Cafe last week and, as always, thoroughly enjoyed their delicious treats and the warm welcome from their team! ☕💙❤️

We’re so excited that they’ve offered us the opportunity to host a monthly information drop-in session at the café. This means we’ll be able to offer free care advice and be even more accessible within our local Suffolk community.

We can’t wait to get started, we’ll share more details on dates soon, so keep an eye out!

Ending the week off on a sweet note. 🎂✨

“Another amazing birthday cake! Helen created a masterpiece of a chocolate cake for my birthday so I could celebrate it with my mum. I am in awe that despite her busy caring role, Helen went above and beyond to make the little birthday party we had extra special for my mother and myself. We so appreciated it!"
