Celebrating another Great NAPPI Trainer Recertification Programme!

Our Onsite Trainers deliver in-house NAPPI courses to their own staff teams.
This year we celebrated, THREE returning trainers, competing their first year as Onsite NAPPI Trainers. With the new and updated content being rolled out for the first time.

👥The week was hosted by NAPPI Trainers Jay, Lyndsey and Emily
👥Assessment and IQA by Andy, Emma, Harri and Liz
👥NAPPI uk Team Chris and Tony delivered a session, journeying through Tony's Lived Experience of being supported by the NAPPI PBS Model.

We’ve hit 2000 On-site Trainer audits so far this year — racing past our total this point last year!

Every course delivered by our On-site Trainers is 100% audited by NAPPI uk Limited, adding an extra layer of quality assurance and, most importantly, safety. This commitment helps ensure that our training continues to make a real difference where it matters most.

Every On-site NAPPI Trainer registers and submits each in-house course they deliver via their online Trainers Account.
This is all including within the Trainer Licence at no additional cost to the client.

A massive thank you and congratulations to all of our dedicated On-site Trainers for your incredible passion and hard work. We’re proud of what we’re building together!

Last week was National Co-production Week, and the Azure Training Team had the privilege of taking part in a truly inspiring experience.
Experts by experience Katie Walker-Nicholls and Tracey Lingham, along with Azure Trainers, Jess Farrier and Naomi Ball, travelled to York to meet with the NAPPI UK team and observe the delivery of My Green Life.
The session was led by the dynamic duo, Tony Hart and Chris Tait, whose powerful co-delivery brought Tony’s personal journey as a trainer to life. Their passion for co-production and commitment to championing the voices of people with lived experience created a session that was both heartfelt and empowering.
We left feeling inspired, uplifted, and full of new ideas for how we can shape and grow our own training content. It was also a great opportunity to ask questions, share learning, and pick up practical tips that make NAPPI UK’s delivery so engaging and professional.
And of course, no inspiring day is complete without a cheeky KFC lunch to top it off!

What a fantastic demonstration of teamwork and dedication during today’s “Implement Positive Behaviour Support” Zoom course!

Our lead trainer, Emma Holt, encountered an unexpected power outage just as we were about to start. With the clock ticking, our IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) Helen Tait was on standby to jump in and take over the session.

With just three minutes before start time, Emma’s connection blinked back to life! With relief all around, Helen stayed on briefly to welcome everyone, and then handed back the reins so Emma could carry on seamlessly. It was a powerful reminder that great training isn’t just about content - it’s about having the right people in place, ready to support at a moment’s notice.

Kudos to Emma for her resilience, to Helen for her readiness, and to all our participants for diving straight into the work with enthusiasm. Here’s to many more sessions that run smoothly -thanks to teamwork behind the scenes!

Co-Production: A Lived Experience

What better way to sign off Co-Production Week 2025 than to do what we do best, Training!

Today is the last day of a New NAPPI (Positive Behaviour Support) Trainer Programme in York. The participants have spent a week learning how to deliver the NAPPI Training to their of staff teams to help them think differently about their approach to their work.

Now The Co-Production Finale
Using the NAPPI uk model Tony shares his own journey of how he has changed his life and moved from the Red (Behaviour of Concern) to the Green (Quality of Life). After developing their trainer skills on the job for over 13 years, the partnership of Chris & Tony brings the training to life. Tony's authentic stories lead the group on rollercoaster of emotions and laughter (and some occasional tears from participants).

When it comes to training... "The textbooks make people think, but Co-Production can make them FEEL!"

If this wasn't enough, Tony is so proud of being the first Service User to become a NAPPI Trainer, he is determined not to be the last. Today we have four special guests two onsite NAPPI Trainers along with two Service User who are starting their own journey as Experts-By-Experience.

We're only just getting started!

Co-Production in Action: Ready, Set, Chart!

Recently, Chris & Tony from NAPPI UK’s Co-Production Team were invited to come meet, Moorview Care’s “Moorview Matters” group, an inspiring panel of service users, to co-design training resources. After sharing their journey in building a Training Partnership (and enjoying Bradley's homemade cake 😊), Chris & Tony handed our Crayola Pens and Flipchart Paper. The group dove in straight into the challenge, creating visual aids for our “Mechanics of Breathing” module.
These diagrams were used the following week by Onsite Trainer, Will for the companies next NAPPI course, helping keep staff and service users safe.

It was a powerful reminder that involving the people we support not only enriches our materials but truly drives a respectful, more person-centred care. Big thanks to Cheryl for the invite and everyone at Moorview for their energy and enthusiasm for something new!

Record Breaking by Record Keeping

How can we do more and better Co-Production until we know, WHAT and HOW much we are currently doing?

By recording the involvement in a project (No matter how big or small) by a person(s) we support, we can know where we are currently and discover our new starting point for improvement.

Every time a Onsite Trainer delivers a NAPPI uk Course within their own organisation, they log the course in their online Trainers Account for our Auditors to check and release course certificates.

The image here is a screen grab from a course submission. This simple collation of Co-Production Records is helping shape how NAPPI uk, will continue to support our client organisations to include the people they support in staff training.
