Check out this great initiative hosted by SHN.

Start the new year with health in mind! On January 25, SHN is holding another Breast Health Screening Pop-up Day for community members aged 40 to 49.

Ontarians between 40 and 49 can now self-refer for mammograms, which is vital for earlier detection and prevention of breast cancer.

📅When: Saturday, January 25, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
🏟️Where: Centenary Hospital, Breast Health Centre (Margaret Birch Wing, 1st floor)

This day will feature breakfast and refreshments, mammography screening provided by female healthcare professionals, education and consult with breast imaging navigators, and giveaways!

Register for your time slot: Call 416-284-8131 ext. 64883 to schedule a mammogram for January 25.

On March 2, SHN is hosting a South Asian Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Event in partnership with Scarborough Ontario Health Team-SOHT and Regional Cancer Centres!

This full-day event is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer in the South Asian community. It will feature expert panels and patients with lived experience, same-day screening mammograms, yoga, goodie bags, lunch and much more!
