Today I thought I might share a little about the style of yoga I teach and introduce you to "Harmonious Yoga" and to "Dru"
I teach a harmonious, energy based form of yoga that completes, includes and brings together mind, body and spirit and makes us feel happy and whole again.
My background is as a Dru Yoga teacher, energy worker, body worker, intuitive seer and as a person who loves to live, be present, embodied, whole and free.
From this I have created my own harmonious style of yoga that is very present inclusive and kind. A yoga that works for the most flexible bodies to the least, from the most flexible minds to the least and from the most free spirits to the least. A yoga, union about being and being with that helps lift our spirits so we can function and be.
Dru, which is where my foundations lie, is a wonderfully gentle, flowing, empowering form of yoga. Yoga and Tai Chi are brought together to create flowing movements that are combined with breath and awareness to revitalise the body, and bring us to that place of contentment, connection and inner peace.
Dru, refers to the North Star and means still point. It is about finding and being that fully embodied stillness, where everything just falls away and you can simply be.
It is an exceptionally practical, all-round, feel good tool for health, wellbeing and happiness
Over the years I have come to see and love how accessible and inclusive I am in the way I teach. Having started yoga with chronic pain, limited mobility and poor health (physically, emotionally, metally and spiritually) it has been a big part of my journey to good health to learn kind and good ways of doing things, so a key part of my ethos is to be that anyone is welcome and anyone can do it and that there is always a way!
From the most active to the least. Any age any shape, body, any walk of life …. and even if you can hardly move, you can still visualise it!
Simply top up those feelings of bliss and of joy and exhubernce at simply being alive.
All you have to do is simply be willing and come and give it a go!
