Come and Join me, every Monday at Alexandra Bowls , near peasholm.6-8pm

Come along to our creating for good group and get crafting for your community! We get together and create for others. From Twiddlemuffs, Chemo Caps, Remembrance Blankets, Get Well Cards and more.

Everything we make is donated to people in our local community and beyond. It's free to attend and we provide all the materials.

We've moved venue and from Monday, we'll be running weekly instead of fortnightly at the lovely Alexandra Community Sports & Leisure Centre from 6-8pm.

Whether you’re an expert in creativity or a complete beginner, we’ll have a project for you and Anja will guide you through it.

Mind Games 2025 is here – and your organisation is invited to join the challenge!

On Saturday, 26th July 2025, at Bramcote Athletic Track, Scarborough, local businesses, charities, and community groups will go head-to-head in a series of fun, light-hearted events — all while raising money for the causes that matter most to them.

How it works:
• Local organisations, or the general public, enter a team of 8 to 10 people
• Each team fundraises for a charity of their choice
• Then it’s game on: relays, tug of war, sack races, welly wanging and more!

Fun, friendly competition — all in the name of community spirit and good causes.

🌟 Introducing Our New "Creating for Good" Group! 🌟

Do you love knitting, crocheting, or crafting? Or perhaps you've always wanted to learn? Join us in our Creating for Good group and use your creativity to make a difference in our local community. 🧶✨

Together, we’ll craft beautiful and meaningful items like:
🧤 Twiddlemuffs for people living with dementia
👼 Angel blankets for bereaved families
💌 Handmade cards to bring joy to residents in care homes

Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, there’s a place for you! Learn new skills, make new friends, and help spread kindness through your creativity. We'll bring the materials and you just bring you!

We'll be running two sessions every fortnight on a Monday from 2-3.30 and 6-7.30 in the lovely new Meeting Point at Stephen Joseph Theatre Come along on Monday 25th to chat to the group leader, find out about some of the projects you can have a bash at and dip your toe into rustling up some Christmas Cards.
