The final stage of our Olympics has been held...The Rambla Bake Off 🍰🧁🍪Thank you to everyone who took part and baked the most delicious cakes, the judges, who had a tough job! And we are delighted to announce the winner was Rick with a black forest gateaux! 🥂🍾✨💙

Our August Newsletter is now out...the residents have enjoyed lots of activities this month including "Bubbles Everywhere", a trip to the garden centre and we have enjoyed a visit from the fantastic Scarborough Well-Being Choir. We also took part in the Bring A Pound To Work Day to raise money for Saint Catherine's Scarborough 🌺🌼🧁🍦🎼🎶💝

And now for the staff Olympics! We competed in 100mtrs Sprint Race, 4-a-side Football, Blind Obstacle Race, Egg & Spoon Race and Volleyball with a twist! A massive well done to all those that took part, supported the staff, and cheered on! It's been great fun! ⚽🏐🏅♥

We have been competing in the North Yorkshire & York Care Provider Olympics 2025...the residents have taken part in the games, the crafts and we have bake off yet to come! 🏅🥎🎳🏓❤

Congratulations to our lovely colleague Mary who along with her friend completed a 13 mile walk from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay and back, all in aid of Alzheimer's Society Mary has raised a whopping £521.00 so far. Two of our lovely residents wanted to spend a morning at the beach! They visited to the harbour, the lifeboat, the amusements and enjoyed fish & chips and of course an ice cream! A lovely day with our activities team Claire & Tracey. 🍦☀☕⛵🚤🏖
