💛 Thank You Thursday 💛

A huge thank you to Elsie and Annie for their amazing fundraising effort in support of patient care at Saint Catherine’s.

The girls ran 50 laps of their school playing field, raising an incredible £351.46! What a truly fantastic achievement that shows just how powerful determination and kindness can be.

We’d also love to say thank you to Hulland Church of England Primary School for supporting Elsie and Annie every step of the way. 💛

Our Head of Guest Services, Pete, was delighted to personally thank Elsie for her hard work and generosity, we are so proud of both girls and incredibly grateful for their support.

Well done, Elsie and Annie, you’ve made a real difference. 🌟

🌊💛 A heartfelt thank you to Carole Jameson and family 💛🌊

On Boxing Day, Carole and her family bravely took to the sea for a Boxing Day Dip in Whitby, raising funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice in loving memory of Carole’s very dear friend, Suzie Shea.

Suzie was supported by Saint Catherine’s throughout her illness, and this incredibly moving challenge was a beautiful way to honour her strength, courage and the love she shared with so many.

Thanks to Carole, her family, and everyone who has supported them so far, an amazing £849.39
+ £168.67 Gift Aid has already been raised to help us continue caring for patients and families facing similar journeys!

🎄 Christmas Tree Recycling Update 🎄

Due to the recent adverse weather conditions and icy road surfaces, our Christmas tree collections have unfortunately been delayed.

The team are aiming to begin collections from Thursday 8 January. Please rest assured that we will get to your tree, even if this means extending the planned collection dates into next week.

The safety of our staff is always our top priority, and we appreciate your patience while conditions improve.

Our Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling service is officially underway today!

If you’ve booked a collection, please make sure your real Christmas tree is:
✔️ Free from decorations, lights, tinsel and stands
✔️ Placed outside your property
✔️ Clearly visible and accessible

Our amazing teams will be out across Scarborough and surrounding areas all week, helping recycle trees and raise vital funds to support patient care at Saint Catherine’s. 💛

💛✨ Thank You, Hays Travel Scarborough! ✨💛

A huge thank you to Hays Travel Scarborough and everyone who joined their wonderful Christmas Charity Coach Trip to the York Christmas Market on 7th December in support of Saint Catherine’s.

An incredible £1,166.30 was raised to help support patient care across our hospice and community services. Thank you to the Hays Travel team, the businesses who donated raffle prizes, and everyone who hopped on the coach and got involved, your kindness truly means the world to us. 💛
