Warm welcome to Amber, who is joining our team this week!

Amber's from Ireland originally but now calls Bath home with her partner (they met travelling in Australia 🦘!). Her yoga journey began unexpectedly when she landed a marketing job at a yoga studio - it changed everything! She headed to India for her YTT in 2018 and has been travelling and teaching yoga ever since 🧘‍♀️

After teaching across Australia and New Zealand ("possibly the best place in the world but too far from home!"), she returned to the UK three years ago, working with mindfulness companies and retreat centres before going self-employed 🚀

What we love about Amber: she's captivated by yoga's unique connection to breath and creates an open space for curiosity in her classes. Forever a student herself, she encourages everyone to breathe, smile, and treat their body with kindness.

This mini course is about becoming fluent in your own body's language so you can actually hear what it's trying to tell you. Over five days, we'll explore simple, practical ways to tune in - from understanding your digestion and energy patterns to recognizing when you're feeling balanced.

Why does this matter?
Because when you can read your body's signals, everything changes. You stop pushing through when you need rest. You notice stress before it takes over. You start eating, moving, and living in a way that actually works for your unique constitution. It's like having an inner compass that guides you toward what you really need.

This is for you if:
🔴 You're tired of feeling disconnected from your body
🔴 You want to understand why some days you feel amazing and others... not so much
🔴 You're curious about Ayurveda but want practical tools, not overwhelming theory
🔴 You're ready to take responsibility for your own wellbeing (without the pressure to be perfect)
🔴 You want to respond to life from a place of awareness rather than just reacting

💚 What you'll take away:
By the end, you'll have your own personal toolkit - a set of daily check-in questions, simple practices for when you're feeling off-balance, and most importantly, the confidence to trust what your body is telling you.

You'll know how to work with your natural rhythms instead of against them. Think of it as learning a new language – one you've always had access to, but maybe never knew how to speak fluently.

Five days, five tools, one major shift in how you move through the world.

Last week we completed our 200 hour YTT course and are now so excited to introduce our brand new yoga teachers into the world 🌍 They worked so hard over the last 6 months, have moved from strength to strength and are now ready to start sharing their understanding of yoga with friends, family and their communities.

As we get ready for our Graduation, we wanted to share a few moments from Module 4. This module was all about teaching practice, how to create and lead sequences that really guide students to connect with themselves, and how to hold the space in the most effective and easeful way! From books, to asana cue cards, to alignment notes, to practicing our teaching on budding friends, we had a really great final module 🚀

It was a double whammy down at the beach today - celebrating International Yoga Day & Summer Solstice!

Our YTT students have already learned so much, but Module 3 is something truly special.

Digging deep in to the Nervous System and the subtler elements of our Yoga practice, we turned things upside down (literally!) and took things to the next level!

In this part of the journey, we explore neuroplasticity and the vagus nerve - topics that may sound trendy today, but yogis understood their essence long before these parts of the body even had modern names.

And we’re not here just to learn the theory. The real magic lies in discovering how this ancient wisdom is still incredibly relevant - and how it can help you transform your life right now.

Habits are the small decisions you make and actions you perform every day. According to researchers at Duke University, habits account for about 40 percent of our behaviours on any given day.

So, we’ve put together a small list of what we’ve personally loved and learned from. We’d love to know if you enjoy this format!
